This place is amazing....customer service extraordinary! I ordered a custom cake...and it was the most beautiful and delicious chocolate cake I've ever tasted.

Jenny with the Sweet Life Bakery was incredible. I absolutely LOVED my wedding cake!! It turned out so gorgeous. We met and did tastings with other bakeries in New Orleans and the Sweet Life tasted WAY better than anywhere else and the price was slightly less than elsewhere. Jenny did an incredible job. My mom and I were planning a baby shower from out of town for my sister in New Orleans, and were searching for a local bakery to make a cake. We had seen an image of a cake that we loved, so we had a specific idea in mind. After getting pricing from a few others, we were becoming discouraged. But thank goodness we found The Sweet Life Bakery!!! Jenny was very nice and helpful with suggesting the correct size cake for the event and picking flavors, explaining options, etc. The pricing was also very reasonable. We sent her the image of the cake we liked and it turned out PERFECT! It was beautiful and delicious and all the guests were asking where we got it from - so of course we recommended this bakery! Thank you to everyone at The Sweet Life Bakery for baking a delicious almond flavor with the most amazing buttercream icing for my best friend's bachelorette weekend in New Orleans. Being that I'm from Maryland not knowing of a bakery in New Orleans I couldn't have picked a better bakery for this special weekend. Jenny was great to work with I emailed her an idea photo of what I wanted and the decorator exceeded my expectations. The bride to be along with the rest of the girls on the trip loved it. I had my wedding and groom's cake made by Jenny and the Sweet Life, and I could not have been happier. I just had my wedding cake and my husbands grooms cake done by jenny. She was very patient, easy to work with and her prices are way to low for the quality of service you get. (not that I'm complaining) � Before Me or my husband could even get a piece, both cakes were gone. We got so much positive feed back on how amazing the cake was. I called Sweet Life Bakery after speaking with two other locations. We decided to go with them when we realized we got more bang for our buck and they used the same ingredients, if not better, than the other companies we interviewed. Our dessert theme was "industrial sheek". I explained to Jenny exactly what we wanted and that it was important that the designs didn't look cartoonish. Variety and down home flavors were important. I was planning the event long distance so tasting the choices prior was impossible. I took a leap of faith and I'm so glad we did. Our desserts were stunning, tasty, and very well thought out. By the end of the night there were only 3 tiny vanilla cupcakes left out of 295 pieces. The German chocolate brownies were a huge hit! Guests were talking about them days later. The best part was our tiny couple's cake. It was exactly what we dreamed it would look like. We will be using this company for future events. Wishing you much success. The Sweet Life Bakery was recommended to us by our flower / decor vendor when we told them we wanted a cake that would be a showpiece and MAN were they a good call! They made us a three-tier beauty w/ different layer sizes and fondant techniques (marble, metallic finishes, etc). Jenny here was a pleasure to work with and she recommended a chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache and fresh raspberries -- All of our guests RAVED about how good it was. Between the reception and farewell brunch, the entire cake was eaten. Thankfully, Jenny told us that if we came back to town for our anniversary, she'd make us a small version to share on our one-year. I can't say enough good about Nola Sweet Life Bakery. We ordered a baptism cake (top tier was a naked cake and bottom tier was a smooth finish in buttercream to mimic fondant) and it came out exactly like the picture we sent Jenny. It was also very well supported. Not to mention it was one of the best tasting cakes we’ve had. The chocolate cake with Oreo filling was super delicious!! Jenny & her team at sweet life bakery are beyond phenomenal! Jenny & I exchanged way more then 130+ emails, but she was extremely patient with us! They made both our wedding cake & grooms cake, & they were such a show piece! Def did not want to cut into them! � the flavors/ingredients are to die for & are so fluffy & airy, the prices are impeccable, & the taste is outta this world! One of the great thing about the sweet life bakery is that they will customize your cake however you want. My wife and I get cakes there for many occasions, but I must say that people, almost 2 years later still remember how awesome our wedding cake not only looked but tasted!
