The Sweet Escape Bakery is the very best and now my new go to bakery when I want to send sweets to my loved ones for r special occasions. I called the Sweet Escape bakery to send something to my sister for her birthday and the person I spoke to was very helpful in helping me decide what to send and it was a 5 inch personalized birthday cake, half a dozen of macaroons and a half a dozen of chocolate covered strawberries. My sister has a difficult address to find and sure enough the drivers had trouble locating the address and there was 2 attempts made, one with an unfortunate tire blow out in a rain storm and than finally the third attempt where my sister finally received the goods and my sister reports that it was the most delicious macaroons she had ever tasted and the chocolate covered strawberries was to die for and the cake was amazing and beautifully decorated and sent me pictures and I have to say The Sweet Escape Bakery did an amazing job and I appreciate all the trouble they went through to make sure my sister received her goods. Small bakery that appears to be inside of a deli - the sign is on the door so don't panic when you don't see an overhead. The staff was friendly and macarons were lovely and fresh.

I was looking for a funfetti cake for my fiancé's birthday. He prefers the simple box Pillsbury trash. I refuse to celebrate a birthday with a cake that's not made fresh. My husband to be is a simple man, so he does not ask for much. But,I found this bakery on instagram and it was a hit.It was local and on we went to find the perfect birthday cake. The GPS kept saying you have reached your destination.But I didn't see the bakery at all. When I called the nice woman told me that it was inside the Waverly deli. I thought to myself a cake from a deli could be a really bad idea. Turns out it wasn't a bad idea. I ordered my funfetti cake, Oreo bites, and macaroons. I was not a fan of macaroons but that's probably because I already have a favorite near my job. But the cake was amazing.It had whip cream filling at my request instead of buttercream. I've never had a funfetti cake taste that good in my life. Everyone enjoyed the cake as well. My fiancé was super happy . I will absolutely be ordering from there again. More...
