We came for brunch. It was fantastic. Friendly service, delicious food. I'd have a picture to share but it was too good and I ate it before I thought of taking one. Great selection of BBQ food and sides here, I usually get the brisket. Great selection of craft beers and other drinks. Atmosphere is not high class, but BBQ cafeteria style, which is good. Places to sit outside also.

Pretty cool place. It can be surprisingly difficult to find a BBQ place that lets you pick and choose a sample of different meats rather than having to order each individual one as a 1/2 pound. I had the "pick 2" platter and got both the pulled pork and brisket. The pulled pork was pretty good but the brisket was amazing. The Texas slaw was also very good. One thing I didn't like was the small amount of sauce you get. They have a nice selection of about 6-8 sauces but they come in a tiny plastic cup and you have to keep asking for more. A squeeze bottle on the table would have been MUCH better. The coffee sauce and the Carolina mustard were delicious. With a brewery right down the street, this is a place everyone must go to. I don't know much about smokers but the ones that have out back are HUGE. Check them out, right next to the little farm market building. More...

I recommend The Stand to anyone as it is a good spot for families and also has a younger scene later at night on weekends. The food is good. I find the pulled pork a little bit sweet for my taste and I wish the ribs were just a few degrees warmer, but they are well made. The sides are good and compliment the meat. They always have some good rotating beets on tap. BBQ is never cheap but I find the price to be totally reasonable for what you get. More...

A great rustic and charming place with great food! What more can you ask for. The interior was welcoming while the outdoor seating was open and scenic. I don't know why I waited so long to try The Stand. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and the seasoning was fantastic! All the food is homemade and freshly made and it comes through in the taste. There are many sauces offered, but the ribs taste delicious and smoky on their own. Platters come with three sides. My friend and I were out riding our Harleys and he suggested this place for lunch.
