I can't thank the Spinnaker Restaurant, especially Bill Manson, the banquet manager, for helping my family and I pull together a funeral reception in less than 48 hours, and on New Years Eve day.  He responded quickly, even before he arrived at work, and assured me he would be able to accommodate 75 people for a luncheon buffet.  The room was perfect - the view, the tables, the buffet (salads and salmon were particularly superb, as were the desserts), and the service.  Everything was done with expertise and gracious service.  Bill really knows what he is doing.  Thank you again Bill and Spinnaker for making our day as stress free and  beautiful as possible. I really liked this resto! Â The prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and it overlooks the water! Â Me and my friends had such a good time here and we are soooo much. Â They serve a blend of dishes, mainly seafood, but other as well. Â If you are in the San Fransisco area, I highly recommend this place. Food: really pretty good! I tried my husband's light fare crab cake with french fries and I thought it was quite good, especially with their pink sauce. Sand dabs with sliced almonds, roasted potatoes, green bean/carrot/onions were good. Some excess of oil on the bottom of the plate I could have done without.My mom liked her salmon salad sandwich, though she's not a picky eater in generalThey have a kid's menu too, which is nice.Service: everyone was great - valet, hostess, waiter, busser. I love this place. It is always very good food for a fair price. Service always good. Easy parking. Beautiful view and the fact it has stayed pretty much unchanged as a building and decor is like going home to charming memory. I have eaten their several times a year for the last 30 years. I have never been disappointed. Even just having a drink or two and the bar is always fun. Both lunch and dinners have always been great. In a time when restaurants constantly update to the latest passing fad, it is nice to have a place that is classy, great ambiance, special for any celebration of one of life's landmarks and I can always depend on for an excellent meal.
