The Second Step

I was "stuck" at the time I started my sessions with Dorene Blair -- I had always wanted to pursue certain goals in my life, and then I found myself at a time and place that I could do so, and yet I just couldn't seem to move. I had thoughts that maybe it's too late for me or maybe I'll fail, or just had no idea how to begin -- so many negative thoughts. Dorene had a very logical straight-forward approach to help me. She broke things down into bite-sized portions that helped me figure out what I wanted to tackle first and how to go about it. She didn't tell me what action to take -- instead she helped me come up with the action I should take myself. It was like she was guiding me, but not doing it for me, and she was keeping me accountable. I felt so empowered! I felt like I could tackle anything and my self-esteem and confidence grew and continued to grow after every session.
