I heard about this place and had to try it. It did not disappoint! Wonderful and friendly staff. My husband and I ordered the Peaked Hill fries. I had a Shirley Temple soda and my husband had The Stout beer. We were very pleased with our order and how quicklyit was made and served. The fries reminded me of the fries we used to eat when we lived in Germany. They even had the little forks I remember using in Germany when we ate pomme frites! I'm looking forward to going back and trying some of the other items on their menu. More...

Their fries are really good and always fresh. I enjoy their cozy interior and dip options! We usually get their fries and a drink but this time decided to try the Hardy Gnome Club Sandwich. We were planning to get this, split it, and then bar hop but the portion was SO huge, we wound up full! So good. We also got their wine slushy and had them mix both flavors (blueberry x muscadine). The front counter guy is super cool and patient, and always in a great mood. Place is quiet and never super packed, which we love. Outside dining (room for about 6 along a bar top seating area and a couple small tables). Try their Kerfuffle Truffle sauce, it’s bueno. Sweet spot for a pick me up while skipping around town. We have yet to try anything from their menu that we didn't like. Being diagnosed as gluten sensitive, my options for eating out are limited. However, the food at The Salted Fry gives me delicious options. Even my picky, non-gluten sensitive husband loves it. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The owner is amazing. 7 pm closing, called at 6:45 & no worries, I could still pick up a to go order, very personable All 3 types of sandwiches we selected were delicious with more than enough meat/veggies The fries reminded me of the kind my mom made growing up except no one used cheese sauce in those days Definitely a must when you want a good sandwich & fries.
