We were there for New Years. Meal was incredibly expensive at $95 pp without drinks. They were slammed, and it took over an hour and a half after ordering. Mine was way overdone and tough (even though I ordered the veal). I rarely if ever send food back, but had to this time. But my guests all ordered prime rib and loved it. Lovely Christmas Eve dinning experience! I have dined at Salt Creek several times and it never disappoints. Owner Anthony always offers the best hospitality- you can find him checking in with each table to ensure they have everything they need. The food is the best of Breck (the BBQ, scallops and cheesecake are a must) and the staff/service is superb. We really enjoyed a great Christmas Eve meal with our family of 11! The service was excellent and food was exceptional! Our party ordered a variety of dishes including New York strip, lamp chops, filet, halibut and prime rib. For price I expected much better. The seating is tight. Too many tables for the square footage. They were out of their signature bone in ribeye. Offered a non bone in ribeye as substitute which was average IMHO. Asparagus was spaghetti thin; would have order something else had we known. Wine list was ok. Very quite time of year but nonetheless, the food was still great. We enjoyed the sea scallops app with the mango topping which was plated very nicely. The caesar salad has real anchovies on top! My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner after researching where we should go based on reviews and what we read in the Breckenridge Dining Guide. The entire experience was fantastic! Shawn was our waiter and did an excellent job taking care of us. The New York Stop steak was AMAZING!! Tom wasn't even our waiter but he was quick to jump in and ensure we got what we needed. This venue was perfect for our crowd! All the buffet food was excellent and didn't taste like it was from a buffet. The bartenders and servers are very friendly and gave us great service and heavy pours. At our event, we had over 115 people who were pretty demanding, but who stayed happy and were very grateful.
