This is my experience. I had a very bad sinus/ chest cold. It was turning into asthma. My inhaler was not helping me at all. I went there on a Saturday afternoon. After I left there my chest felt different. The wheezing slowed down some Saturday night. When I woke up Sunday the wheezing was gone, AND IT IS STILL GONE. We had a great experience here. We used a groupon and had never experienced a Salt Cove before but thought it would be worth a try since we both suffer from asthma. The actual experience is called Halotherapy and our session was 45 minutes. We requested the private room which is good for 1-2 people but they also have a group room if you have more people you want to have the experience with. They recommend white socks as well as clean clothes and refraining from perfumes or lotions. You sit in reclining chairs and it’s very relaxing. After some talking and giggling, you really start to feel relaxed and the environment is so soothing. I felt my breathing was improved and I dozed for a portion of the 45 minutes. This place is great. It's upstairs in the shopping center over top of the tanning place. Check Groupon to see if there are any deals and if so jump on that. It's very relaxing in the room, we we're in the smaller private room. There is an infrared sauna also but I didn't try it. Here is a user tip, don't wear dark clothes because you will leave covered in white dust. The Salt Cove was a great experience. Staff is very nice. Be sure to bring white socks for the group room! You pretty much just relax on beach chairs for 45 minutes and inhale the salty air.

My children have allergies and asthma. They took a series (10 day course) of salt treatments in Europe and it helped them stay asthma free for a year.
I am very happy to see this business in our area! The facility is very nice and clean; people there are super nice and helpful; very relaxing environment overall. I have been talking my children to this place on a regular basis and I strongly believe it helps them with their asthma and allergy symptoms.
One time we came for the salt treatment when my son was very congested due to allergy; after 5 min in the salt room he was talking much clearer; he was completely clear when we walked out in the end of the session. It was like there was no congestion at all. This was in the spring and his congestion came back but the effect of the salt room was incredible and he can definitely feel the difference.
On the side note - be mindful of electric devices as salt will get into the device and may impact the performance of your device, so we just use clear Ziploc bag to protect it.

Relaxing in the lounge chair listening to the music was relaxing and ended too soon. I have had a cough and was hoping the therapy would help since the information said it helped with colds and flu, sinuses, smokers cough and other issues. It did seem to help my cough since I have been hardly coughing. Once the session was completed, a massage would have been a perfect touch. After only one visit I have seen deminishing of the puffiness under my eyes from allergies. 2nd visit, laugh lines are a bit softer. 3rd visit softer lines in my face and a little softer skin. The Salt Cove is such a refreshing and wonderful place to go! Sit in a relaxing dimly lit room and breathe the wonderful mineral salts while sitting back in a gravity chair listening to some nice soothing music. Personally, I breathe so much easier after only 5 minutes! As well as salt therapy, They offer several other things, such as myofascial release, yoga/salt sessions and a few other great therapies!
