I HIGHLY recommend the experience of working with Alexa! As my nutritionist for the 3 months, I grew immensely in my knowledge of my nutrition, body composition and overall health. Not only did I lose 12lbs and 7" with her over the course of 3 months, I developed a love and appreciation for my body and how it functions. I am a runner and very active and Alexa taught me how to properly fuel my body to perform at its best. Alexa has been amazing! Very knowledgeable about eating healthy and in making real change that lasts. Flexible regarding developing a plan that works for me, my goals, and my preferences. Food is the foundation of health - it contains all the energy and materials required to keep your body functioning well throughout your lifetime. Your body has all the tools it needs to run smoothly - but food is what supports those systems. But "healthy" doesn't need to mean dry salads and skipping dessert. Health is about making choices that support both your body and mind, and allow you to live a long enjoyable life - which DOES mean eating things you love and understanding how to do so in a balanced way.

Connecting and interacting with people and helping them better understand and connect with their bodies! It's an awesome feeling to know more about the things you're body is trying to tell you on a daily basis and being able to support it! It not only helps you achieve a better weight, but also improves your long term health, quality of life, mental health, social interactions, and confidence.

I've worked in several areas of wellness and never felt like I was able to help people make lasting changes. I wanted to focus more on educating people to be more self sufficient with their health long term, and not just help them lose weight in the short term. This approach has also allowed me to reach people with health conditions, whether weight loss is involved or not.

Again, this isn't a quick fix, but if you're someone who's tried all the fads or who wants to really learn about your body, health, and weight for the long term - I think we'd be a great fit! I believe in finding someone you connect with - so I always offer a free discovery call to get to know you and share more about my style and approach. I'd like to teach you how to manage your health and body composition on your own so that you can get out of the yo-yo diet cycle and have more confidence in your decisions without following a "diet plan" forever.

I work remotely with 99% of my clients, offering coaching sessions via phone/ video conference and offering check in support via email/ text. I am willing to meet in person in a limited capacity for clients in the Cincinnati area.

Because I work mostly remotely, I haven't had to make too many adjustments here! I am flexible and understanding and willing to adjust our coaching period in the case of a client or family member falling ill.

Services

I want to guide you through the basics to set the foundation for any health goals you may have now or in the future. With weekly check in emails and a monthly 30 minute call, we are able to build your knowledge of health and your body and feel increasingly more confident in your own ability to plan/ build meals and make choices in a pinch. Great for those with weight loss, weight gain, or general health goals.

Have a few nutrition related questions but a solid foundation of your own? Do you want a professionals opinion on your routine or a new supplement/ program? These calls are great to be able to touch base with a professional, and help make a few tweaks to optimize your routine. Not recommended for those who have bigger or longer term goals, or those who rely on accountability for success.

Calls can be added to a monthly program at a discount.

Do you struggle with a chronic condition and would like to optimize your diet and lifestyle to further control / ease symptoms? Have you tried other programs or professionals without much success?

My programs for clients struggling with chronic diseases or undiagnosed symptoms are very personalized to your situation and lifestyle. We will cover all the bases by including recommendations around nutrition, movement, lab work, supplements, and lifestyle management (stress control, sleep quality, hormones, etc), and set up a progressive plan to ease your symptoms and allow you to maintain the results.

I do also work with healthcare teams, and would be more than happy to play off recommendations from other providers.
