Went to AMI yesterday, gorgeous day! Decided I would find The River Road Stop. Little out of the way but was it delicious. Decided on the pork tenderloin sandwich and very fresh cut fries. It was everything I had been looking for....I had seen many posts in the past. To top it off, Keisha was wonderful. Very friendly and apparently knows her way around the kitchen! Great little stop! This place is a gem! We stopped by a couple of months ago and got breakfast, it was yummy. Last night we got fish and chips for four people delivered with a banana cream desert. Both were great, we’re English so you know we are harsh critics on the fish and chips!! All in all, great service and top notch food for a great price. We were excited to try the place as much because my wife is a fan of food trucks as its location, which makes it the closest food venue to our home. So, we went there around 5p.m. We were the only customers and were greeted by a guy in the truck and then an Australian (?) fellow who guided us through the menu. We ordered 3 sandwiches and waited the promised 5 minutes to get our food. For good measure, we waited another 20 minutes. When we got our food wrapped, but not bagged, it was missing a sandwich and order of fries. We rectified this in 5 additional minutes and even managed a bag. Sadly, when we got home, my son's hamburger had transformed into a duplicate of my smoked ham grilled cheese. How a hamburger becomes a 2nd ham sandwich is a mystery. I’ve gone here a handful of times now since they’ve opened and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is very courteous, attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about the food they’re putting out. Everything is made to order, prices are affordable, and it’s obvious they’re using fresh ingredients. The owner is very attentive and loves feedback/constructive criticism as they’re dialing the menu and dishes in.
