Friday night. We had a reservation for 16 at 8pm. We arrived on time, no table was ready, and they ushered our party into the bar to a six top. They did give us free appetizers, which were delicious (the shrimp and steak one, and cheese dip with chips). They were massively understaffed that night, which I assume is part of why they didn't seat us for an hour. Some of our party decided to leave without dinner as they had to work the next morning. Eventually they cleared a whole side of the restaurant for our party and another huge party of about 20. I'm not sure I would go again on a Friday night or Saturday either. I'd go again as they have a big menu and the food was good, came out fast, since our two parties were pretty much the only ones left in the restaurant. Our server was as attentive as possible, all things considered. I wish I could give a half star, because they did do some things right but I felt that we could have been accommodated over the existing table we had and another that they clear near us. Our huge party was disjointed anyway so it's not like we could have talked to the folx at the other end of the table anyway. I had the Arnold's Chicken and it was moist but somehow dry at the same time. My friend got the tuna tartar which was really good! I was surprised, honestly. Hubby got a steak and he wasn't terribly impressed with the cut, but I liked it! :) My other friend got the shrimp Alfredo, and another got the pecan salmon.Dessert was good, I had the lemon cake, hubby had the brownie cheesecake. Both delicious!Overall? I'd dine here again, but wouldn't count on a reservation meaning that much, especially on a Friday night. More...

I gave 5 stars for the friendly waiter and nice atmosphere. I ordered the fried porkchop. It was disgusting and overcooked. Did not taste like pork at all. Highly suggest the chef remove this from the menu. The waiter returned it to the kitchen and replaced it with an order of wings. They were good. Delicious food, especially twice baked potatoes. Waitress excellent with party of seven.3-9-2018: Adding fifth star. Had mouth-melting brisket. Sam, our server, was textbook great! Prices reasonable. Would bring any group or date here.10-12-2018: Wish there was a sixth star to give. Stuffed pork chop was fork tender. Carmen was superior and really knows the menu. My 6 friends and I will be back. I love the smell of wood. I swear when you walk up in this place, you're instantly refreshed with fresh wood. You feel like you're outside with air conditioning.
