The Retreat WV

I was supposed to get married in June. While planning a pandemic wedding was stressful enough I was devastated to find out that my venue and caterer had to back out 2 months prior to the wedding. Needless to say, I panicked. My husband and I are an interracial couple and wanted to celebrate on The Day of Loving. The date was very important to us. With less than 60 days to make it happen, the amazing women at The Retreat acted as a full team of fairy godmothers and made my special day a reality. Everything from coordinating with musicians and bartenders to designing the space layout, getting decorations and providing a great catering option and setting it up. Bobbie worked tirelessly to ensure that me, my husband and our guest did not have to lift a finger. I really cannot say enough good things about what they were able to do for me and on such short notice. My wedding turned out EVEN BETTER than I could have dreamed and it is thanks to The Retreat and EVERY single one of the amazing women on their team that bent over backward to make my big day a dream come true. I am a little late but as I think about all the things I am most grateful for this year The Retreat is at the top of my list. Thank you so much Tricia, Bobbie and Kasidi for everything. More...

Our team met to work at The Retreat to minimize distractions from the office and focus on policies and procedures. I couldn't have envisioned a more perfect setting. The location of The Retreat was tucked away in a quiet, quaint part of Charleston, where we could enjoy the weather on the deck outside and also soak in subtle comforts like candles, scarf blankets, and motivational quotes and affirmations. The Retreat WV is an incredible space. It is beautifully designed and decorated in calming but interesting colors and decor. Recently I was fortunate enough to spend time there in a planning meeting for a local business. I believe the focused time spent there will help elevate that business to the next level.
