The Ranch at Laguna Beach

5 stars for customer service. After having issues with a room they quickly remedied the situation to my satisfaction, and in my opinion went above and beyond to make sure I wad comfortable.

The resort itself is nice and the rooms are county chic. It's rather secluded, and the lack of cell phone service is a big bummer because even with wifi calling enabled I was still missing calls and couldn't check voicemail until I got off the property. I was there for a work conference and all the food we got was delicious.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Ranch this past week. Five star service all around they really go above and beyond to meet all your needs. Laura and Lauren at the front desk were very accommodating they made our stay so enjoyable. The property is stunning and the grounds are immaculate. Couldnt have asked for a nicer room (pool side in the middle of a canyon). Charlie and Brandon were saviors with their golf cart rides to and from the beach. One of my all-time favorite places. I rarely leave reviews. The Ranch deserves it. The service was apparent from the time I pulled up. The ambiance and essence were spot on. The activity options were plentiful. The room is homie and clean. The location is perfect - mountain canyon minutes from the beach! What!? This golf course is in a beautiful setting. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The valet parkers were the first to greet and welcome my friends. Beautiful spot. Nice rooms. My only complaint was that they charged our card extra money for a deposit without telling us. It took about a week to get the money back. I would have been fine with it but it bothered me that they did not inform us of the charge at check in. Aside from that our stay was enjoyable. More...

We had a lovely stay at the Ranch at Laguna Beach. The rooms where spacious, extremely clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff where all polite and extremely helpful. There was great live music on the deck over looking the valley, once back in our room everything was extremely peaceful. The deck overlooking the valley had a great buzzy atmosphere- ideal for a cocktail or coffee. The beach is just opposite the Ranch. This is a fantastic resort if you are looking for a unique location that truly embraces the natural beauty of its surroundings. The rooms are well appointed and speak to the local culture. This is a nice patio and restaurant just nestled in the valley across from the ocean. The views of the hills are nice (no ocean view). They have a big patio that also overlooks the golf course. The patio also has corn hole, a putting game and bocce ball. They have live music on the weekends. The restaurant looks nice, but I didn't eat there.
