Dog Training

Dennis came by to do my consultation and he’s great with my 2 large dogs. Im thankful to be able to work with him. I can tell he knows what he’s doing and trust that he will help my furbabies get their act together.

Q&As

There is no better job in the world than working with dogs. It does not matter the age, sex, shape, or size; all puppers are special in their own way, and being able to help bring out their best is extremely rewarding

I have been working with dogs and fostering for over 6 years. I worked for 20+ years in the corporate world and realized it just was not fun or exciting anymore. I probably realized that after just a couple of years. However, getting to work (really play) with dogs every day NEVER gets old.

I am a member of the Association for Professional Dog Trainers. I am a big proponent of positive reinforcement. There is no need for punishment-based training when Least Intrusive Minimally Adverse (LIMA). As every dog is different and there is no 1 single way to train all dogs, I am continuously educating myself on new techniques to train and rehabilitate dogs.

Some puppers need a little extra help. They may have learned some bad habits that need to be changed to fit in with family life. Other dogs may be anxious, fearful, or exhibit behaviors that are unwanted. Using positive reinforcement and Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive (LIMA) techniques, your pupper can become their best.
