High quality food. As long as you are open to non-conventional options, you will enjoy the menu here. I had the eggs benny with greens, and a bloody mary that was made with Saki. Quite good. Grits were good also.

I will start off by saying that it is a bit pricy for the portions that you receive, but the food is delicious and the servers are so kind! I’ve been coming here for years, and I do not plan on stopping anytime soon. More...

Their Hollandaise should win awards. It is absolutley the Best I've ever had. Every time we eat here the staff is friendly, attentive and on top of it. Will was especially pleasant. Their coffee drinks are delightful and a perfect pick me up in the am. Creative and always great tasting. My meat is always cooked perfectly and don't forget the mimosas! More...

This joint usually has brunch on Saturday and Sundays so we took our faith out on a loan and went for Sunday brunch.Overall the food was pretty good however there was one tainted yet important piece to the menu that was left out. .... And that was flavor.I'm no chef from Paris but I'm pretty sure Ratatouille could have added a little more flavor to the potatoes! Granted, this might be the intention of them but to all people I do give you warning that there is not much flavor in the potato Department here. There was a grave and great ambient atmosphere that wasn't too loud or too dull. There was ample space for you to walk sit and eat, which is a very appreciated in today's restaurant world. When the weather is warmer there is space to sit outside on the patio and it feels very cool because this place is nestled away within a very nice subtle prominent neighborhood in Knoxville Tennessee. You would definitely appreciate it.Everything else is pretty clear-cut and to the point. I do recommend their veggie omelette with sweet potato, collard green and mushroom..Very tasty! The homemade biscuits with apple butter jam is the bomb.com! More...

Wow. What an amazing little gem. It's off the beaten path, which is wonderful, because the drive to it, past the perfectly manicured lawns and flowers was a beautiful spring sight. It was my first time here and also to Eastern Tennessee, and the staff did an amazing job of making me feel welcome.I had the eggs benedict with roasted brussel sprouts and house smokey bacon, plus an almond joy latte, and it all made my taste buds extremely happy. The cafe is also very bright and airy, with big windows that let the natural sunlight shine in. More...

One of my favorite restaurants in all of Knoxville. The coffee was incredible and our meal was just superb. I would of paid double for the meal I had. The only blemish would be the cinnamon roll. It was lukewarm, the icing that was on top couldn't melt, but as busy as they were, it's a very small issue. It was still very tasty all around. More...

Do not hesitate to add The Plaid Apron to your restaurant list. Check the online menu and you will find selections sure to please each family member. Lots of farm-to-table options and in-house made breads and dressings. The collard greens and banana pudding are the best I have ever tasted. Pizzas are great too. Today I enjoyed the chargrilled Patty Melt from the Brunch Menu. More...

Fantastic breakfast! The ingredients were fresh and everything went perfectly together. If you like lamb I HIGHLY recommend the braised lamb dish. That dish is now my SECOND favorite dish that I have had for breakfast. They didn't skimp on the amount of lamb meat provided, the greens were so tender, and the grits were done PERFECTLY! I would 100% recommend this venue for breakfast should you visit Knoxville, TN. More...
