This was a good place for lunch. Reasonable cost, great location if you're touring the battlefields. Service was good, food as well. We sat outside on a large front porch, which was nice too. And they have fans above, so even on a warmer day, you can enjoy lunch in the shade with a bit of a breeze. More...

my husband and I took a drive through Gettysburg today. beautiful day out. we stopped by The Pike, met Timmy the bartender and we were hooked. what an awesome personality. so friendly. it was our anniversary and he made us feel so important. we can't wait till you guys can open up for eat in because we are so there. next time we will bring the bike. I went for lunch with some friends this past weekend. We all enjoyed ourselves. We had a variety of food, all of which was tasty. Our server was Tim, who was very friendly and personable. He was very accomodating, even providing us with some beer samples to help us decide which we wanted to order. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you are looking for a low key, relaxing meal and a few drinks. More...

Went to The Pike for lunch on Sunday 1/19/20 with a group of friends after being referred by a local. We had a great experience with good food, good beer, and the best server in all of Gettysburg (Tim). The restaurant is not fancy but is very cozy and welcoming. The beer menu is expansive and a friend asked about a beer flight which was currently not a menu item; however, Tim created “the Game” for her which included 4 different flight sized beer samples, numbered 1 through 4, no clues as to what they were. Then we got to guess what one of the many beers were chosen for her to try. Others jumped in on “the Game” with different mystery samples and we had a great time trying to guess what each drink was. There were no prizes awarded except for bragging rights but it made for an excellent lunch with friends and gave us a chance to sample many of the delicious craft beers (my favorites were the Snowdrift Vanilla Porter and Wood Chop Chocolate Stout). The cheesesteak wrap was delicious and my friends had the fried chicken which got good reviews. Go to The Pike, ask for Tim, have a great time! More...

Every January we hold our Civil war reenactors meeting, the facility can hold really large groups. Service is always A+ they go above and beyond to take care of us. They do have a buffet on select days but today I ordered off the menu and I got the fish sandwich with a side sala, the fish was very delicious. A group of friends went to The Pike this weekend for an outing. They gave us plenty of space for our group and Felicia, our server, was fabulous! Went into the smoking bar for beer and wings. Played 10 songs on the digital jukebox, 6 of them were changed by the only 3 other customers in the bar besides me and my wife. Bar manager and bartender supported the obnoxious behavior of the unruly patrons and asked me to leave when i brought the matter to their attention.
