Our experience with The Pier was amazing!! I was needing a place for a large group of people and they were more than accommodating. Even with some extra changes. The staff was great, the apps and drinks were great, and the food came out hot and very delicious. The service we received spoke volumes about The Pier. It made my night that my parent’s 45th Anniversary dinner turned out spectacular. The best part was Rick came outside to help us take a picture because one of us had been left out. Again, kudos the The Pier and the staff!!! More...

I would highly recommend! We just had our son and daughter in law’s wedding rehearsal supper here. The river level was quite a concern leading up to this. Richard kept in touch and assured us they would be open. The food was great. The wait staff/bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Thank you all for being so accommodating! More...

Everything was excellent: shrimp lollipops, salads, fresh bread & butter, house made lasagna, panko & horseradish catfish, veggie sides. Dylan’s service was perfect. No room for any of the tempting dessert options.. this time. We shall return. More...

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Their customer service was lacking. We sat for nearly 15 minutes with no server. Wasn’t even offered water. ... it would have been the first time, and we will not be back. More...

My wife and I had an amazing meal tonight. She had the mussels special that they posted on their Facebook page. I thought she was going to lick the bowl clean. I had the stuffed pork chop. Perfectly cooked. Our server was very attentive and did a fantastic job. If you haven’t been to The Pier in awhile it is time to go back. More...

WOW! My family and I just had the Sunday buffet! INCREDIBLE! My wife is a vegetarian so it can be hard to please her, but she also left FULL and satisfied. My parents can be picky and they too LOVED it. We can't wait to come back! The menu looked fantastic as well, so we cannot wait to try other things! Great job guys! More...

The food was excellent-the location is ideal- once we were seated our server ask what we would like to drink and when he returned with our drinks he ask if we had made up our minds on what we wanted and we ordered. While eating our salads a group of four were seated right behind us and a different server came to their table and ask what they would like to drink and said he would like to tell them the specials of the evening while they looked over the menus! Our server never mentioned specials. When our server returned to ask us how everything was and we said wonderful but why didn't you tell us about the specials- he said we did not give him a chance! Not true but still a very special meal with a very good friend. More...

Would have given a 3.5 if that'd been an option. My Husband and I visited last night for our wedding anniversary. The place has the potential to be Amazing, but the decor lacks lustre, there are no candles or illumination on the tables fir ambiance, the appetizer we ordered was the fried cheese balls and they were basically flavorless. I have a seafood allergy, and they were the only option. The lasagna I ordered was Very good, but the salad was lettuce and croutons, no cheese, onions, tomato... Salad flat lined. My Husband wanted a Ribeye, but it was not on the menu as a staple item and they sold out over the weekend. He went with the strip steak and found it to be flavorful. The "bread" was about 2 inches wide and very slim, as well as much like a crouton in texture!! Bread should be fluffy, warm, and soft!! More...

While our entrees were delicious and even remarkable in some ways, the restaurant is in a state of disrepair which is more remarkable. It smelled of urine and decay. The decorations and appointments were incredibly shabby. Holes in the backs of every chair I could see. Holes in the tablecloths. Faded cloth napkins. Curtains of dead mayflies on the exterior, marring what could be a beautiful view of the bridge and river. Bottom line: the food (except the calamari) would be worth returning for if the restaurant received a generous helping of TLC. It seemed like the owners just don't give a fig. More...
