Very disappointed with this restaurant. Made reservation for 3 people on Open Table a week before Mother’s Day, received confirmation, all set until. .. Sunday noon time ON Mother’s Day received email that the restaurant CANCELED the reservation! so I called the Pelican and they told me that open table Overbooked so they had to Cancel everyone’s reservation! They apologized however you would think they would offer us to come back another time maybe offer a Free appetizer or something! Anyway Not a Great start for this restaurant . I’m hoping it was an off night. Mother’s Day Set menu on the Saturday before without telling while making reservation. Ok, no big deal. Service was so slow, not any fault of the server. The kitchen was a mess. They couldn’t handle it. Maybe because they were getting used to the new menu for the next day??? However, we had a party of six. The mussels had no flavor to the broth, it was basically just water with herbs, two meals came out cold... another the salmon was so dry because we watched as it sat under the heat lamp while waiting for the other meals to make it out. Unfortunately the meals that were cold didn’t have enough room to be placed under the heat lamp. Felt bad for the server, but I won’t be back anytime soon. More...

I WENT TO THE RESTAURANT THIS WEEK. The food was delicious but they had NO UNSWEETENED ICETEA, NO HOT TEA, meaning black hot tea, No milk. When we were eating heard someone in kitchen sneeze super loud freaked me out from germs. Covid.. My food was quite expensive but it was very good. Only 3 tables and waitress seemed overwhelmed. And she constantly touched her mask and ears the whole night. No no The menu was also very limited. When I checked website had tons of options but not when I got there. But food was excellent. Would never recommend this restaurant, my sister received a gift card last Christmas but then Covid hit and restaurants all closed down, she is a nurse so even once they opened up again she decided it was not safe for her to go out in public considering her job. She finally decided to use the gift card but the restaurant has a new owner and he won’t honor the gift card because it “expired in December” even though NJ law states gift cards are supposed to be honored for 5 years. Can’t believe that with everything going on with Covid and my sister being a nurse, the owner refuses to honor her gift card because “he won’t be making money off of it” More...

We’ve always loved The Pelican Restaurant and tonight we tried a few entrees from Krish’s Indian Cuisine. Everything was really delicious and reasonably priced. We usually get Indian food from Collingswood or Voorhees so we are so excited to have good, authentic Indian food right here in Washington Township! We will be ordering takeout often! More...

We ordered from The Pelican and from Krish's Indian Bistro tonight and everything was absolutely delicious! I'm very excited about the Indian cuisine, as we have no Indian restaurants in Washington Twp! ! I will definitely be spreading the word and wish you the best of luck! Recently moved to the area and discovered this gem. We’re not easy clients: my wife is on a special diet and I am not a big fan of seafood or fish. Yet, with the guidance of our young waitress we were served with some incredibly tasty and fresh meals. It was a great treat through and through. The burrata and calamari fritti starters AWESOME, both salads superb, my wife’s grilled sea bass excellent, and the chicken in my doubled kids meal (yeah, I know! 😂) delish, plus a heap of fettuccine cooked al dente to perfection.
