Everything is dusty! And a lot of the menu isn’t available, which was somewhat understandable since it was due to Covid19. But the dust and dirt is something that can be helped. Especially on the rocky wall treatment. More...

We haven't seen our family photos yet (we took them yesterday) and would still highly recommend Emily! She was fun, encouraging, easy going and made the 'awkwardness' of standing in front of a camera, seem a lot less awkward. Not to mention she dealt with out very sassy 2 year old like it was no big deal. Looking forward to letting her capture more of our life events!! More...

Our service was great. My husbands steak was cooked perfect, just not a lot of flavor. Cheesy potatoes were ok. My ribs were to done, very dry, and not enough sauce. For the price, we were disappointed. More...

We tried Maverick's for lunch today, 3/13/2020. We were seated quickly, and it is decorated cute and was clean. But, here is were it changes. .less than half full room so they were not overly bust at all. Service was slow and unorganized. The waitress was friendly enough but, we had to ask for catsup, which never did arrive. I had The Maverick steak from the lunch menu $13.99 which is about average price for the area, steak was done correctly and tasty, but the french fries were ice cold. Friend ordered the chicken and waffles, chicken was hot and tasty, the belgian waffle it was served on was ice cold. We also ordered desserts, carrot cake was good sized and moist, cheesecake was dry and tasteless. Bloody Mary orders were bland, seemed to be plain tomato juice not BM mix. Total for lunch was $72.00 + plus tip. Out to eat, IMO, all the food should be fresh and HOT when served, service should be friendly and quick. Anton's, Old Brickhouse downtown, Neighbor's in St. Joe, La Casita WP is always full at lunchtime and everything is hot and tasty. All of these get my repeat business. Mavericks in WP, no. Will not go back. More...

I was very impressed with the food, very affordable, great service and loved how clean the place was. I realize that it's tough opening a new restaurant but think that they have done a wonderful job. I wasn't served dinner on a plastic plate. I encourage others to try them again. More...

The staff is friendly and the food is great. I do recommend the Mavericks signature steak and coconut rice or the Salmon.

Visited two different times. Salads came out both times after the meal. Took just shy of an hour to get our food. There were 4 tables in the dining room and one of them already had their food. Spoke with manager and he just didn’t seem to care too much. Said we will just remake your food. (My prime rib I’m pretty sure was just thrown on the flat top to heat it again) When I called was told they have a free dessert for birthdays but when we asked our server her response was oh we don’t do anything for birthdays. They need a tremendous amount of training done so all staff can get on the same page as far as service and wait times and when to deliver soups and salads. When we arrived we were told a 10-15 minute wait but when we were sat there were only 4 tables occupied in the dining room. More...

I don’t recommend it at this time. They most definitely have ALOT of kinks to work out and definitely need to train staff better. I did talk to a manager and I have to say that he was no manager! I was only looking for our drinks and he stood by our table holding them and waited for the server to come and give them to us....ummm we could see you! Server was overwhelmed a little and he did nothing to help her but just walked away. Our table had dirty dishes on it for most of the time even when dinner came which was cold, steak was tough, shrimp was rubbery, cheesy hashbrowns where overcooked chewy disgusting. Sorry to post this but someone really needs to fix the problems. I am hopeful that in a few months we can go back and try it again. Our server was a sweetheart and i felt bad for her! More...

Long wait with lots of empty tables, slow service, over an hr wait for food which was cold, and expensive for what it is! Go to Texas Roadhouse or really anywhere else.

Tried out Marverick's this past week and was excited for a new elevated steak house experience in St Cloud. Sat in the bar area and service was fast and very nice. Decor is nice and has that new hotel smell. Parking was great. Everyone's food was awful. I had the WORST ribeye steak I've ever been served. It was completely chared on the outside and unevenly cooked throughout. My friend pointed out the plates were plastic. yikes. We were served bread that was rock hard and when we told the wait staff they apologized and thanked us for letting them know. (no one had checked it.) The Parm Walleye was equally bad as was the Petite Maverick's steak. I think they need to invest in a high quality executive chef to properly train the cook staff. Hopefully then the place turns around. More...

Food was really good. Bartenders need some help- 30 mins for a couple beers and a margarita. Will be coming back once they’ve worked out the kinks. Waitress was very apologetic of food taking a long time to come out but it came out hot and delicious. More...

We got there about 645 on a Saturday and it was busy. Was told it would be 30-45 minutes to be seated, so we went to the bar. Place was packed but 2 chairs were open. $6.50 a beer was a little pricey but the service was good and it’s a hotel so what do you expect for prices. Ordered an appetizer and within 10 minutes our table was ready and the bartender brought our app right away. The chairs in the dining room were terrible. Someone had already broken the legs off one and a guy next to us was well on the way to breaking another. But they were small and uncomfortable. Especially since we waited about 40 minutes for our main course to come out after the salad/soup. The food was very good. Blackened steak and Cajun Alfredo and salmon pasta was good. Other then some lag in the food coming out it was great. Will be eating there again. Waitstaff and bartenders were great and apologetic for the wait. We knew they were brand new so expected some wait. More...

Our family dinner experience was sub par on their second day of being open, so hopefully they'll be improving on some things from the kitchen. Staff and atmosphere was very pleasant. Our food came out at all different times, some of the food was cold, the pasta was dry and overcooked (small portions), steaks were just ok, but the hamburgers were pretty good. The higher prices do not reflect the quality of food. Hoping they really try and improve on the food bc it's a nice place to go. More...

I would say that the Saint Cloud Technical College is one of the greatest places I've ever encountered the professors are impeccable open-minded and easy going and there to help in any way they can. Me being an older student feeling a tad bit out of place going back to school did not feel that way from the moment the first class started I can't wait to go back and finish up my double major with a little or a lot of help from the teachers and my friends at SCTCC!!! I’ve been in GREAT Theatre summer camps since I was in Kindergarten. I’m now in 6th grade and every year I have done theatre productions with them. This summer I was in the musical Annie and I was given the lead role(Annie, of course) and it was amazing. I met one of my best friends there this year and I couldn’t have asked for a greater friend than her. These theatre camps have spiked up my acting skills and I’ve been able to memorize my lines much better over the years. Lead roles I’ve played are Annie in Annie(6th Grade), Lucy in The Chronicles of Narnia(3rd grade), and The Wicked Witch of The West in The Wizard of Oz(Kindergarten). All my experiences have just been amazing and I highly suggest doing either summer camps with GREAT Theatre or any other camp with them! More...
