This is my second time here for the company's Christmas party. Great food, I had Salmon with herbs and my wife had chicken breast. The banquet room is large and well decorated. Restrooms are impecable clean. At the bar there is a large selections of beer, whiskey and liquor. My advice....take an uber, parking around downtown may be a problem. More...

Very good duck in their restaurant, if you never tried it I would highly recommend. I went here with my dad back in May. I frequent the Bakersfield area for business and I will only stay here, at the Padre Hotel. The rooms are always immaculate, the bed is AMAZINGLY comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are occasions when the festivities on the lower levels can be heard in the rooms above, but never to the point of being impossible to sleep through. ||The bistro and cafe offer delicious, fresh food. I was here for a concert , never been in Bakersfield before so I wasn’t sure what to expect . The hotel was easy to find, staff was nice , hotel decor was tasteful, I loved the convenience of the food options and the prices were ||decent ! Definitely plan on returning:)
