This was a relaxed bar with a good crowd. They have a music venue upstairs and the were having a DJ playing some really good music in the down stairs section. Great beer. Great food. Nice staff. Comfortable upstairs music venue. I've actually come here before on date nights because the food and atmosphere is that good. At a dive bar, no kidding. I've also come here late on a Saturday night bar crawl and fit right into the lively (respectfully rowdy) late night crowd. Also a bonus that they have a pool table. I love this place, but I'm biased as I've performed here twice. Johnny Brenda's is a fantastic venue to see a band or to BE a band and an even better place to be an air guitarist.

The food is great, the burger has some sort of secret sauce, and the fish and chips today were also good.

The beer list is always interesting with a wide variety of local and less-local brews.

Downstairs has a pool table in the front and a quieter room in the back. Upstairs has a good sized bar and a balcony that allows even the shortest person the enjoy a band. More...

Great spot to hang out eat some food and get some craft beer. Came here with two friends - we all enjoyed ourselves.

I ordered an appetizer and the JB burger. The burger came out right away and it was delicious. Their fries are just the right amount of crispy. I got my burger medium and I ate every piece.

The appetizer didn’t come out right away because someone made a mistake. However they brought it out and said it was on the house, which was nice. I thought that added a plus to their service.

The waitress was nice but didn’t leave our table until we ordered - which was kinda weird but I guess that’s how they make sure everything comes out quick.

They gave some great craft beer selections which change constantly.

The quality of the food you get here does not match what this place looks like on the outside, or even on the inside for that matter. The bar looks like a pretty typical neighborhood dive but it is far beyond that and we were blown away. The food was absolutely amazing and felt upscale for very affordable prices. For example, I got a root vegetable medley that was amazing. Beer list was also very good. There was some beer event going on while we were there, and the tap list was full of great and unique stuff that I had never even seen available before. Prices were good and service was very fast and friendly. It was absolutely packed on a Saturday night, but even so, with three people we waited maximum only about 15 minutes for a table. I'm literally here right now. 4/22/17. i came with my girlfriend and WOW. I've been here before for drinks but never sat down to really enjoy the place. Great music. Great staff. Great food.
