The Nutrition Fix

The Nutrition Fix literally "gives you the fix" of very healthy protein and nutrients to get you through your day. Their products are made of fresh and quality products that become very evident when your taste buds are shocked with their deliciousness. The owners, "Mario and Jessica," who happen to be siblings, make your visit special each time you visit with their professionalism and their knowledge in the field of living a healthy lifestyle. My personal favorite is the "Charlie Special." This combination has an extraordinarily tasting chocolate, banana, and I believe birthday cake protein shake, a cold iced tea (green tea, black tea & antioxidants) that is available in peach, cinnamon, raspberry, and lemon. Also included is a shot of Aloe Vera, which is terrific for your digestive system. The Nutrition Fix has a menu that appears to be never-ending, and it seems most customers are devoted to their favorites. One thing I can guarantee, however, is you will leave this business dissatisfied in any way. Oh, did I mention that the only sugar used in their products comes naturally from the fruit they blend into their products. With the assistance of Mario and Jessica, coupled with their products, I have shedded many unwanted pounds. Give them a try and ask questions about the countless combinations/flavors. This is seriously one of the best places in Ventura County. The vibe, the way they treat you, it's insane. You walk in and they are excited to greet you. They give you an aloe shot, which is so yummy. Then, you get a fat burning tea of your choice, hot or cold. the Peach and raspberry teas were my favorite. Then you choose your smoothie or shake. Don't be fooled by the dessert flavors, those ones are actually the ones with less sugar and calories. But the most calories one of these smoothies are is 310 i believe which is not a lot. They are used as meal replacements, and they work. they kept me full for hours. The last thing they gave us was a gluten free vegan chocolate chip peanut butter cookie dough bites. Let me tell you, i've tried hundreds of vegan desserts, this is one of my favorites ever. The guy working also kept making more smoothies for me to try. He was so insanely nice. Also, one thing worth noting is, if they make too much of your smoothie, they put the extra in another cup for you. I really like this because most smoothie places throw it away and it's incredibly wasteful. Basically all around 10 stars if i could give that many. Everything was delicious and amazing. More...

I don't even know where to begin, the staff is just as great as the smoothies. Everytime I go in, I'm greeted by everyone with smiles and they always remember my order. I recommend this place to my friends as it is my bi-weekly stop. Not only is everything delicious, the staff is amazing and the store is always clean. Already looking forward to my next visit.
