UPDATE: HIGHLY-RECOMMENDED: Best to speak with the florist as opposed to ordering online. When you do the results are fantastic! I had a bit of a hiccup with the first bouquet, but the owner inquired about my satisfaction, and committed to making it right. The second bouquet was extraordinary and received the kind of compliments you expect from a top-rate florist. Plus, you get to pet a really cute dog when you're there!Details: Plenty of floral "spray" which made the piece very multidimensional. My florist canceled on me about two weeks before my wedding, I was so distraught and upset and didn't think things were going to work out. Enter Dawn, owner and master creative. I gave her the vibe of my wedding and colors and no other direction and not only did she deliver the most beautiful flowers she did it all for just about 1/2 of the previous florist. 50' garland over farm style tables + centerpieces using my late grandmothers silver collection and we even were able to incorporate succulents from her garden. 12 bridesmaids each with a headpiece ect. ect. ect. She literally worked a miracle and I couldn't be more thankful. Dawn did the bouquets and eucalyptus table runners for my wedding.  I gave her very little direction (just a couple of flowers to avoid and a picture of the bridesmaid's dresses) and she created stunning bouquets that really tied everything together.  Mine was so large that when they pulled it out of the van I thought it was all 4 bouquets combined!She was in touch throughout the process, responsive, and the delivery was prompt even though it was the day before Mother's Day so I'm sure the store was swamped.  All around a great experience and I would highly recommend. Where to even begin?First I'd like to say, I tried three Instagram trendy florists who either told me they could do and week later couldn't or didn't even respond? Second, I was a referral from sweet flower shop (Gather Floral) that knew right away that she couldn't fill my order.When I reached out, I hand a response very promptly and on times that it would take a little longer than usual to respond I was given a heads up.Dawn was very attentive and professional!Our order was done via email and even paid through online link, which was very convenient.I showed her my color scheme and my estimate was very detailed on flowers she would include to get my color scheme!Her prices were more than reasonable for the great customer service I received. Nature of things did the florals for my September wedding and Dawn did not disappoint! They aren't cheap but honestly it was worth every penny because they pretty much exceeded all my expectations especially with my bouquet and bridal party bouquets and bridal crowns.  I didn't consider how important my bouquet would be but seeing it in my wedding photos it's definitely not something you want to skimp on and mine was amazing! It was truly a pleasure to work with Dawn to select our wedding flowers. To say that I was impressed with the beautiful arrangements she presented on the day of our wedding is an understatement. They were exactly what I wanted and Dawn understood our vision. Our wedding was a back yard event in 105 heat and the flowers held up and still look amazing 2 days later. Dawn is a wonderful, creative, inspiring florist who was able to take my vision for my bouquet, crown, and centerpiece and make it into a reality! Dawn made everything so beautiful and the detail was amazing! It was everything I asked for and more. I ordered the Heritage bouquet for my mom back in March for her birthday, and the quality of the flowers was superb! Gorgeous blooms, that looked exactly how the bouquet was advertised. My mom was over the moon for the Riverside-themed orange crate-vase. I'll happily pay the extra penny to support a local business and have a beautiful, complete bouquet delivered same day, instead of waste money on 1800Flowers. We selected The Nature of Things as the florist for our wedding, and we are so glad we did. Dawn was easy to work with in terms of letting us know the options based on our ideas, and the flowers turned out even more beautiful than we imagined. We had a variety of elements including lots of succulents and a bouquet with one large succulent, and the finished pieces took our breath away. I just got married in December, and I cannot express the appreciation I have for the Nature Of Things enough! Dawn was the sweetest, her and everyone went above and beyond if I do say so. I was suppose to only have one arbor for the wedding. I ended up having a second one last minute unknown to her, and she still adorned the second one just beautifully! I did not expect them to do that, being it had not been discussed. But they did, going above and beyond! My bouquet, never had I ever seen a more beautiful bouquet I showed Dawn a photo of one I liked, and the one she put together for my wedding day looked far more beautiful than the photo. It was so perfect!  I was so in love with all my flowers, I took a few photos quickly on my own phone so I didn't have to wait to see them again from the photographer. Thank you again so so much! This review is long overdue. Their work is original, creative, and unique. I've been gifted and have purchased several of their creations. All of which have received many compliments. My wedding bouquet was by far my favorite. I couldn't recommend them enough. Dawn added extra love to my wedding flowers and I'm so grateful to her for it. I called the owner about noon to request a unique arrangement and she gladly responded that she is fast and could have it ready before closing at4pm.  We discussed several options.  I told her I wanted something that I would find in Vons.  She make a beautiful arrangement! She even provided a box to carry it and asked if I needed help out to the car.  The payment process was easy too.  It's nice to be able to support a local Indi owner rather than buying from a large chain. Oh my Chuck! I've never done more than a bouquet in a vase from 1-800 Flowers or something. I'm not sure I could tell you what a peony was if I saw it. So when I reached out to Dawn at The Nature of Things and asked for a bridal bouquet, I really didn't know what I needed to ask. She was really friendly and asked questions without judgment to fill in all the blanks because Lord knows I didn't know how to describe what I wanted! She even asked if I could send her a picture of some of the arrangements that I liked. She showed me some options right there in the shop, which I thought was so nice. My favorite thing is that she doesn't have pre-designed bouquets like all of the big floral shops I've seen online. Instead, every bouquet is unique and custom-created. I'm not going to lie, I spent a little more than I was expecting not (that I have ever really bought many flowers). But the bouquet was so beautiful and looked so amazing in all the photos that it was worth every damn penny!! I will be going to The Nature of Things for all my floral needs because I'm so impressed by the quality of the flowers (the bouquet lasted nearly a week!) and their customer service. This review is overdue, but I have to say that I LOVED working with Dawn from The Nature of Things for my wedding! When I initially met with Dawn, all I provided was a picture of a bouquet that had a King Protea and said that I wanted this particular flower and a desert vibe. I also requested eucalyptus garlands - for two long tables and one that was arranged as a half moon on the floor (this was our ceremony site underneath a chandelier). I felt like in terms of what I wanted, I didn't give Dawn very much information to go off on and yet she delivered EXACTLY what I had envisioned.
