We are a local non-profit Education Center who visited The Nantucket Hotel & Resort over the weekend with over 30 children and about 15 adults (teachers, chaperons, parents). We had an incredibly fun stay, which went in a very smooth and pleasant manner.|At check-in time, we were greeted by the Hotel team and sent out to our rooms, which, according to adults, children, and myself, were the most beautiful and comfortable hotel rooms we have stayed in. They were spacious, very well furnished and decorated. They were spotless clean!|Fulya Castrello, Hotel Retail Manager, and Carlos, Assistant GM, were very enthusiastic about the idea of us bringing our students to The Hotel for a weekend workshop and a sleepover. They have directed me to Rachel Dodson, the Event Planning Manager of The Nantucket Hotel and its sister resort in Martha’s Vineyard. She was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with during the organizing of the event and made sure that everything and everyone were ready for our arrival. |We rented a 1-bedroom suite, a 2-bedroom suite, and a 3-bedroom suite, as well as few queen bedrooms. The suites had an amazing homey feeling, supplied with a kitchen with all amenities and space that can easily accommodate whole families or a group of friends. |During our stay, the whole team of the Hotel was taking great care of us. |Rosa, the Restaurant and Ballroom Supervisor, was constantly making sure that we had everything we needed and that the children were feeling well and entertained. She, along with Danny, Food and Beverage Manager, always made sure that the Ballroom, which we had rented for the weekend, was in order, to accommodate our group’s needs. We were able to use the ballroom for everything a school organization could dream for - from regular school work, rehearsals for upcoming events, to yoga practice, play time, movie and story telling nights. She also made sure that we had an amazing dinner on Saturday night when all students and adults were at the Breeze Restaurant. We had outstanding service and meals, exactly as planned and expected.|Jamie Holmes, General Manager of the Hotel, along with Greg Knapp, the Guest Service and Front Desk Manager, made sure that all of our scheduled activities, such as s’mores evening by the fire-pit, a ride on the Hotel’s favorite firetruck (this ride was so much fun!), were well organized and on time. Our students wanted to plant some daffodils for the upcoming Daffodil Festival in the Spring, and The Nantucket Hotel were very kind to meet us with their gardener Westin who helped our students plant daffodils in front of the Hotel. He was very kind and helped all kids to plant their daffodil. The kids loved this activity and can’t wait to see their flowers in the spring.|Deb and Jonathan who are running the Hotel’s Fitness Club and Kid’s Club were very kind and helpful making sure that our group had a great time using these facilities, which were very well equipped, very comfortable to use, and also very neat and clean.|Our Organization was very kindly welcomed and taken care of at The Nantucket Hotel & Resort! I have personally always had a great respect for the Hotel, as they have always been very present and involved with the Nantucket Community. This was the first time I worked with them in organizing such a big weekend, involving a lot of different activities and accommodating so many children and adults of different ages. Carlos and his staff did everything they could to make our holiday week extraordinary. When we arrived on the ferry, a kind gentleman picked us up and brought us to to the resort where our room was ready at 10am (even though check in was at 3:00 pm). The room was lovely -- clean and full of goodies like plush robes and slippers, afghans for watching TV, a fully stocked kitchenette, very large bathroom, and even a shelf of books. Soon after we arrived, a young man knocked on the door with surprise champagne on ice and an anniversary card for us! ||||The hotel is well maintained, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the pool table, DVD library, and desserts on the porch next to the gas fireplace. Umbrellas were provided for rainy afternoons and the concierge was knowledgeable and friendly. Each staff member went above and far beyond our expectations. ||||Everything was within walking distance of the hotel which made it easy to get around. Although we were there on the off season, there was plenty to do and see, all without the summer crowds!||||I have reviewed the hotel restaurant separately, but it too was outstanding and highly recommended. My daughter and I just spent the weekend at the Nantucket Hotel. It is truly a beautiful property! The outside porch was decorated with pumpkins, gourds, apples, etc for fall, and was a gorgeous backdrop for photos. We had a two bedroom suite which was impeccably clean and luxurious. Beds were comfy (and I’m picky). What was great about the Nantucket Hotel is that it is very quiet and relaxing, yet a short walk to the bustling downtown area. We dined at their Breezes restaurant which was terrific. Some continental breakfasts are skimpy and leave you wanting more, however continental breakfast here are HUGE and very filling, with lots and lots of options. Spent two nights at the hotel to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we arrived our stay felt special. I loved the fall décor and the fire pit set up with cozy blankets. Everything about our room was exceptional! We were so appreciative of the Prosecco and welcoming card in our room at our arrival. The room had all the amenities you could possibly need and were top notch. ||We had dinner in the Breeze Restaurant, which was excellent. Our server for the evening was Wayne and he was highlight to our stay. We attended a wedding in Nantucket, where preparations, celebrations, dining, transportation to and from the ferry, and the church, overnight stays -- everything -- took place at the Nantucket Hotel & Resort. There were so many moving parts, it was hard to imagine all of it working flawlessly, but it did. ||||There was an incredible amount of communication among the staff which allowed a seamless operation. Spent four nights here in late October and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Property is located in the heart of town on the island and is an easy walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Stayed in two rooms, a mariner suite (room 43), which was fairly spacious, nicely appointed and had a decent harbor view. On the final night, I stayed in room 46, also called “the point”, which offered more expansive views. As with their sister resort, the Winnetu on the Vineyard, this hotel provides outstanding customer service from the moment they meet you at the ferry. There is also an excellent fitness center, where you can shoot a game of pool after your workout. There’s also a spacious outdoor front porch with a fire pit where you can read and relax. We have very high standards and this dining experience hit everything. We were there for Thanksgiving with 2 little kids and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable time. Decorations were festive and fun. The food was delicious and offered a choice for everyone even non turkey eaters. The kids buffet table was the perfect height for out 3 year old and he loved that he could “do it all by myself.” They spaced the reservations out perfect so it never felt too loud or crowded. I just returned from a weekend away at the Nantucket Hotel and could not have had a more enjoyable, luxurious stay. Immediately upon entering, the staff welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm, making us all feel right at home.  ||||We were visiting as part of a girls weekend away and were blown away at how beautiful, clean, and spacious the accommodations were. The bathrooms were updated and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable to sleep in. There was plenty of storage space to put our belongings in dressers and closets and every detail was thought of. The service was impeccable in every regard. I just spent a weekend away with some girlfriends and we felt like we were gone for 5 days! The greeting that we received upon arrival was so welcoming and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The rooms were beautifully appointed. From my first encounter with the shuttle driver picking me up from the ferry landing to my very last day staying at this beautiful property, I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of service provided. Everyone at the front desk including Carlos and his wife were exceptional! I thought it was great how the concierge called me a few days before my arrival to ensure I had transportation from the ferry landing to the hotel. The concierge also gave me great recommendations on things to do and where to eat during my time there. I was traveling alone for a mini vacation, but I never felt alone. Everyone there was so pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I appreciated being able to check in early too! My room was gorgeous and very clean. There was a minor hiccup, but the staff corrected it and made it right. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. They have a game room, gym, 2 outdoor pools, spa options, a restaurant on site, a gift shop, and so much more! Jonathan in the gym area was great and super friendly too! I really enjoyed my time there. My friend is staying there this week too! Whenever I go back to Nantucket, I will be staying there! Kudos to all the staff! More...

Superb Resort really good place to stay with your family, the location is perfect amazing location great place for a relaxed vacation. . I stayed here for five days with my family and really enjoyed here, They provide superb customer services you get really good place for parking. The hotel is beautiful and has all the right touches for a wonderful experience. Our room was great, the decor and ambiance so Nantucket and the fitness club is up there with the best of hotel fitness centers. Mel at the front desk and concierge desk was so helpful and understood the value of the customer experience. Continental breakfast was super; dinner at Breezes was fine. Staff around the hotel were all very friendly and pleasant. Location is perfect for being in town but accessible to other areas. Hands down the absolute number 1 accommodations my husband & I have ever stayed at. The staff are above and beyond committed to customer service, Greg the manager beyond kind and out performed his job more than any person in his position has ever served, I literally asked him if he owned the hotel & resort because he is the kind & committed. Pam & Mel were awesome. Bill & Damian @ the bar above & beyond. The morning staff for breakfast were sooo unreal nice I can’t explain it. This hotel & resort is above and beyond. The staff and amenities at the Nantucket hotel are wonderful! They upgraded us to a suite for free and gave us champagne and chocolate in our rooms since it was our honeymoon. They also offer a pretty good complimentary breakfast. They will drive you whereever you need to go or you can use their car. Also the hotel is kept very clean and orderly. Our meal was one of the best on the trip. The combination of flavors on the plate was a perfect mix. I had the swordfish and my husband had the scallops. Cooked to perfection. Service was wonderful with attention to detail yet not intrusive. Dessert was a little disappointing as the apple spice cake was dry, but the cinnamon ice cream that accompanied it was delicious. We stayed here for one night to celebrate our anniversary. Loved it! Very nice king suite - large family room, separate bedroom, jacuzzi tub and shower, and fridge/microwave/small dishwasher. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Enjoyed dinner at the Breeze, the onsite restaurant. The hotel is about 7 minute walk from the downtown Main Street. We checked out of the room in the morning, but could use the hotel facilities all day until our ferry back to the cape. Workout room is excellent - many cardio machines, weight machines and free weights. They had a trainer there who I observed training a few people and he was excellent. As always, the room was impeccably clean with nice touches all around. The furniture is clean and comfortable making us feel right at home immediately. The window treatments include these gorgeous shutters that we always say, "We have to get these in our bedroom at home." The shower, so unique and spacious, is an experience itself. We left a jacket in the room, they contacted us and mailed it back to us. You just don't get that level of service everywhere. We are frequent visitors to the island and have stayed here in the past and always love it. Today we stopped in for breakfast at their Breeze restaurant and had delicious pancakes! ! But even better than the great food, is the boutique, managed by a wonderful woman named Fulya Castrello. Her husband Carlos is the assistant general manager who is also extremely friendly. The boutique sells super cool stuff and the attention Fulya pays to the customer is like no other. It’s nice to be treated so well even if we were not staying there. Everything about the hotel and staff felt luxurious. First, we received a call a couple of days before letting us know which ferries to use and inquiring about our pick-up -- a great thing too, because ferries were sold out for the long weekend a couple of days before our arrival. A bell boy appeared to bring us and our bags to the hotel and facilitate our check-in! Cookies and lemon water were available for our famished selves, while we registered at the front-desk. Our suite was very cute, and beautifully designed, but lacked a door (we're a couple and two kids -- needed a little adult time!), so the general manager upgraded us the following night (for free!) The concierge and front desk staff were so helpful with everything else we needed (phone charger, restaurant reservations, tours, day hike guides etc.) Breakfast was great too, and so convenient! Location is perfect -- right by Jetties beach and close to all the restaurants in town. Thought was put into every detail in the design of this hotel and the service staff was remarkable. Such great little freebies (a pale and water toys for the kids, water bottles for the family), and even a bottle of champagne for a special occasion. We felt like royalty. This hotel was everything we hoped it to be and more. Traveling wtih 2 under 3 is never easy but this hotel really thinks of everything. They made everything as easy as possible for us and even upgraded our room upon arrival. Everything was VERY clean. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the employees are all extremely friendly and accommodating. Literally every person we interacted with over the phone or in person was beyond pleasant.
