I am an Interior Designer with about 14 years of experience in Commercial and Residential Design Interiors. After working with several companies, Including Gensler and WeWork in New York, I started my Interior Design Studio, The Monochrome Edit, with a focus on working with companies and individuals rebranding.

What’s your interior design process?
I start with a consultation to understand each clients design needs, then I follow up with a survey with additional questions that will help guide the design direction. Next, I create a digital mood board with design inspiration that will establish the aesthetic direction. Then I begin selecting finishes, fixtures and furniture to further develop the project. Once we have aligned on the products and materials within the scope, I document the selections, with plans, elevations, and architectural details as required. If the project requires a virtual or in person site visit during construction or installation, I work with the project team to bring the project to completion.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I based all of my client projects on the needs of the client, however my style lends towards modern and timeless with hints of unique furniture and finishes to bring projects to life.
What do you love most about your job?
I love transforming environments for a wide range of clients. Changing a space for the better can elevate, inspire and create a new beginning, and I love being a part of that process.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in the Interior Design Industry for 14 years, starting as a designer, then manager followed by heading up Interior Design Department. Gaining the full range of experience within design was one of my major goals before venturing out on my own. I feel that it has given me the knowledge base to market and execute designs and work with a wide range of clients. It's been a journey but I am so glad I made the leap!

I listen to clients carefully, and make it my mission to be sure that they understand the process and are happy with the final result. Design is my passion, and I think of each project as if I am designing for a family member and make sure that the experience is enjoyable and thoughtful.

Yes! Between facetime and zoom, there are so many virtual ways to communicate with clients throughout the process.
Moodboards
Working with clients to provide a concept floor plan and rendering of their space. This is a great option for clients who need though starters on a design project. I can provide a moodboard for look and feel, or a moodboard with a purchasing list.
Furniture Floor Plan and Rendering -Residential
This service includes a floor plan and rendering of a residential space that illustrates how a space could be designed with a range of furniture dimensions that would suit their space. It allows clients to shop on their own but with a guide.
Commercial Design - Full Service Design
I've designed for some of the largest fortune 500 companies from various industries. This service includes Project concept, through to construction documentation as required.
Full Service Residential Design
This service begins with a Moodboard and spatial concepts all the way through to in person or virtual on-site construction administration.
