I am an event manager for a medium-sized corporation and Modern Edge is my absolute go-to for events catering. Not only is their food quality great, but their prices are reasonable, and their staff are some of the most friendly I have encountered. The team at Modern Edge has pulled through for me last minute may times and I will continue to use them almost exclusively for my catering needs. I can't say enough about this Caterer. The food was classy and spectacular, the service even more spectacular! it was such a treat to enjoy a Corporate Holiday party in our home! They cleaned up perfectly (after setting up perfectly and serving perfectly and refilling drinks in a timely fashion, specific to each person's drink!) The crew saved all the leftovers in containers of ours and left the kitchen so nice. I would do this again before Christmas, that's how easy it was! Karen and her crew were absolutely outstanding. They helped our wedding day go off seamlessly. My momma and I did most of the planning going up to our wedding day and used Modern Edge as a 'day of' wedding planner, however, they were awesome and we would hire them again in a heartbeat. Karen is very professional and she put all my worries at ease- she knows what needs to be done and handles it. DELICIOUS! I did not have one complaint for this company. Modern Edge delivered perfection at our wedding. I still have guests talking about how delicious the food was. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was executed correctly and in a timely manner. The bartenders were fun and added to the events fun lively spirit. I tried every beverage I had up on our specialty menu and every one of the drinks were tasty and well done. They also were fast. There was never really a long line the whole wedding night and our families and friends were drinkers. Our cake was VERY VERY good. YUMMY! People were blown away. Amazing food, wonderful people to work with, extremely reasonable pricing, flexible. When it came down to a final decision between The Modern Edge & another fine, reputable caterer it came down to a couple simple facts:
1. Their Waldord Chicken salad is out of this world...no joke!
2. Karen's flexibility & positive attitude which made me very comfortable with a process I was unfamiliar with & confident to ask for changes as we worked through our final choices.
3. Value: $ for $ there was no real comparison.
I would recommend this caterer to anyone & will be keeping them in my "rolodex" for the future.

Modern Edge was awesome. I had began planning my personal friend and a couple family members to do our grilling for our wedding.
We were camping and just wanting to throw some elk and bison burgers on the grill. It sounds easy until you have 75 plus people to grill for. We were kind of last minute in the realization we needed help and luckily Modern Edge was there to save our day.
They were incredibly flexible with us and more than accommodating with us. They did our grilling for us and created the best Mocktails I've ever had. They were so friendly and professional at our wedding as well and we just enjoyed working with them. Huge shout out to ya'll for saving our day and our sanity!

I can not express enough how amazing the modern edge is!! They catered our rehearsal dinner, our wedding and brunch the next morning. Karen was my event Cordinator and I don't think my big day would have gone as smoothly without her. They did a great job of taking control of things so I could just have a great time and they were extremely accommodating during the planning process. They went above and beyond what I expected. We got married on September 27th at the Dove House in Lafayette. Modern Edge catered the event for us. It was a raving success. Mike and Karen did an amazing job from beginning to end. All of our guests raved about the food. They made us sushi as part of our appetizer selection as well as a stunning variety of antipasto on a beautiful display. They really took our every wish into account and came through with top notch food and service. The fennel and asparagus salad was amazing as were the entrees of stuffed chicken and flatiron steaks with crimini mushroom sauce.The staff were excellent and attentive. I particularly  want to mention Hooty who had just started with the company. He was excellent and eager to serve. He is a keeper. Chef Michael and Karen and the whole Modern Edge Catering staff were awesome!! The food was fabulous! We had many compliments on how delicious it all was. We were glad there were a few left-overs that we enjoyed the next day, especially the manchego cheese dip. Very easy to communicate with and super flexible with any changes we made. Modern Edge Events was an absolute pleasure to work with! They did the catering, bartending and day-of-coordinator services (Nikki was fantastic! ) and the event was flawless. They were prompt when answering questions and had good suggestions during the planning process. They made our big day so easy, all we had to do was show up and be guests at our own event. I had an amazing experience with Modern Edge Events from day one. When it came to our wedding, we were wanting to make it as cheap as we could. They were able to work around our budget and give advice on how we could save money. They constantly made us feel like we were super important and worked wonderfully around our schedule. When it came to our wedding night, they went above and beyond in helping with everything. They made the set up of food (a buffet) extremely easy, they worked with other vendors in order for the guests to be comfortable, and were very friendly during the whole thing. Our guests raved about their food! We had the bar-b-que buffet, and people were constantly asking where we got our caterer from. I would highly recommend them for any type of event.
