A dessert option was something Tyler and I were struggling to come up with for weeks. We explored so many avenues of mini cakes, cupcakes, tarts, Bundt cakes and even a s’mores bar and none of it felt right. It was actually my sister who sent us a link for The Mobile Scoop, and we were instantly sold. From the beginning of the planning process Pat was amazing and super helpful. She was always so responsive and kind, answering any questions we may have and even letting us change our service time to an hour earlier than originally planned. The website and forms were super easy to use/follow and the flavor list is immaculate. So many amazing options! On the day of the wedding, I can only describe our experience with one word: easy. We coordinated the set up time and location and they were there. Tyler and I didn’t have to worry or take time away from what we needed to do, we knew we were in good hands. We went with The Van (middle option) and they were set up seamlessly and beautifully. Our guests LOVED the flavor options and the Gluten Free/Vegan ice cream was to die for. It took Tyler and I until the end of the night to make it over to the ice cream truck, but we were met with smiles and open arms from the staff. Which says a lot because we had a rowdy bunch for them to serve! To top it off, I had mentioned I would want to go back and get some more of the Dreamsicle ice cream but never got the chance. I was on the dance floor when the kind gentleman walked all the way across the venue to find me and make sure I got another scoop before they left for the evening. Highlight of our wedding!! The Mobile Scoop was such a delight to work with. We loved serving ice cream at our wedding! Our guests loved it even more. It was so fun to have such an immersive experience for guests to get ice cream and have so many options to pick from. We got the cutest pictures eating ice cream too! We decided early on that we were not big cake people and started looking for alternatives. We went back and forth over a lot of different ideas until we spotted Mobile Scoop! They were super easy to work with and very flexible as we definitely had trouble picking which flavors we wanted (haha)! We found with the Mobile School Shop through the Portland Bridal Show and, after one sample of their product, we were hooked!
Throughout booking and scheduling, everything was smooth and easy and they were very patient with us as our guest list fluctuated and we were late on the occasional deadline (sorry!). Overall, they were simply incredible. On the day of our wedding, the staff was amazing and friendly and engaging. Our guests, who initially gave us a very hard time for choosing to omit cake and instead go for an ice cream-esque dessert alone, loved it and completely understood our thought process once they tasted the product. Seriously, I don’t know how you do it, but I want to know because the Italian Ice is absolutely phenomenal and, as someone who can’t do milk, I wish I could pick up a pint of the Caribbean Dream every time I go to the store. All in all, I have nothing but positive things to say and would 100% recommend the Mobile Scoop Shop for any future event, I know I’ll be keeping you in mind.
Our day was fantastic and they played a big role in that. Thank you, it was delightful!

We had an annual company gathering last week. With a last minute idea to have something cold and sweet for the hot day, we began searching for a scoop cart that could accommodate us with only two days to plan. Pat was very responsive and kind even though our request was in conflict with other events that she was hosting that day - she made it work and we are very thankful for her service-with-a-smile! When she heard how difficult it was for us to choose just two flavors (the menu... oh, how that selection makes your mouth water), she worked her magic to let us pick four flavors! We only had a party of about 35 people so the price per person was a little higher than what it could have been if we had a larger group. We enjoyed Pat and Mita's Italian Ice at our daughter's wedding June 20. Pat was fantastic to work with, her ice flavors are phenomenal and the 200 guests were serviced very well. It was a hot day and her ice stood up to the heat. Everyone raved about the flavors and cute cart. She not only served nice scoops for everyone, but had "sundaes" after dinner with all the toppings. From the very beginning, I knew we wanted ice cream at our wedding. I researched a number of companies and actually met Pat at a wedding show. It was like the heaven's parted and a ray of light shined on their booth! In all seriousness, I could not be happier with our decision to hire The Mobile Scoop Shop for our wedding day. I exchanged emails directly with Pat throughout the planning process. He was quick to respond to all questions. The survey's & questionnaire's were quick and easy to complete and left me feeling confident that our wants/needs would be met. On the wedding day, The Mobile Scoop shop was on time (early!), dressed professionally (a requirement for our venue) and so friendly! What’s your signature dish?
We make our own Italian Ice, a sorbet style vegan dessert made with real fruit. Our manufacturing philosophy is to make a delicious dessert without artificial colors, flavors or corn syrup. Because of that ideal, we serve Tillamook Ice Cream, a local favorite! Our clients hardest job will be choosing which 6 flavors to bring from our list f over 20 items. :-)
