I was searching for a DJ very last minute(month in advance) and reach out to The Milwaukee Wedding DJ praying they'd be free that day! Matt was super responsive to my messages and very accommodating! Jay was our DJ yesterday for my outdoors wedding and everything went so smooth during the ceremony with the songs! He listened and played everything on my "do play" and respected my "do not play" list..I had so many loved ones coming up to me saying it was the best dj they had ever heard do a wedding! People even asked for his card to use at their own wedding next year! He kept the vibes good and everyone had a great time dancing and singing! Would highly recommend Jay!! We absolutely loved Jay as our DJ! He was awesome at keeping the party going and our dance floor was never empty! They were so easy to communicate with and I really appreciated him calling us the week of our wedding to go everything to make sure nothing was missed! Our photo booth shut down due to a software issue but he was more than willing to figure stuff out for us and reimbursed us within a day for the photo booth malfunction! More...

From the initial emails back and forth with the team all the way through the event itself, we were really pleased with The Milwaukee Wedding DJ team.
They were very helpful over email as we knocked out the initial questions we had, and they were even happy to accommodate a few odd requests, like coordinating with a live music performer for part of the event.
As we got closer to the event, they sent us a form to fill out to clue them in on some important info about the event, and that pretty easy form went a long way in helping us get aligned with Jay, our DJ for the event. Filling out that one form they have really made the rest of the steps easy.
Jay was fantastic to work with and was a great person to have leading the way at our wedding. He helped get us photos with every single table, he led the way during the "Shoe-lywed Game" which we loved, and he was energetic and great to work with.
Overall we feel like we chose well and we were happy with the work Jay and the rest of the Milwaukee Wedding DJ team did and I would definitely recommend them!

We couldn't have asked for more - Matt was awesome! They were great to work with a very accommodating. We had a family member perform at the reception and they made it easy and had everything ready to go. There were tons of people dancing from start to finish and all ages enjoyed the night. Plus, he did an awesome job making sure there was plenty of country and dance/pop music for all. We've had countless people ask who our dj was!! Matt was amazing. SO many people told us what a great DJ we had. The dance floor was constantly full of people and he always knew just what music to play to keep people interested in dancing. I would highly recommend these guys. Matt helped move things along, worked with us on all the curve balls we threw him and never missed a beat. Our uplighting looked amazing with the room. My wedding was full of music...string trio for the ceremony, bluegrass band for the cocktail hour, and a live band for the reception. However, we wanted to make sure someone would be able to work with all of these musicians and also provide music during dinner and during the band's breaks. I was referred to The Milwaukee Wedding DJ by a friend of mine who had worked with them in the past. I was definitely not disappointed! Matt made sure all aspects of the wedding went off smoothly, even making sure my dad's keyboard and mic were working perfectly for our outdoor ceremony, 200 yards away from the bulk of his equipment. The only thing that I was not completely satisfied with is the set-up and execution of the photobooth. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Reading the room and knowing your music! Each and every reception is a little different, so using your intuition and knowledge of what music works for which type of crowd dictates how well you can keep a party going. We've become experts at this!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Fun but not cheesy.. we want to be entertaining and engaging but only up to the point it keeps the guests involved with the evening and keeps the spotlight on the Bride and Groom. As long as people are having fun and dancing, we're happy.
What do you love most about your job?
Watching the crowd fully immersed in the music. We love what we do and watching people have a great time dancing with friends and family they probably don't get to see as often as they'd like is a great experience to witness.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Love of music and entertainment. We come from a live music performance background and figured that same feel could be brought to DJ'ing. years later, that is still the case.
