If you’re looking for great cocktails and a smaller, more intimate atmosphere, Matador is the place for you. It’s on Virginia, so off the beaten path a little bit, and right next to Santiago Bodega, major bonus points for pre/post eats.

Highly recommended.THE ONLY reason for not giving 5 stars is that when I’ve gone there’s usually only two bartenders and when the place gets packed you’ll wait a bit. BUT the place gets pack, so 5 stars it is! because they have GREAT bartenders and varieties in drink. This place has good cocktails and a very trendy atmosphere. But it is a little expensive.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Helped us pick out drinks I got a habanero cocktail that was super interesting.
