Came with my grandson's school. The staff was very organized and ready for all the students that came. Different schools. Made the experience wonderful, first time ever coming to The Magik Theatre . We watched Tiny Tims Christmas Story, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The actors/actresses were wonderful on stage, and the props and lighting really well done!

Such a great environment for children! We watched The Very Hungry Caterpillar. They had a little coloring activity before the show and various merchandise for purchase. The orchestra seating was spacious compared to your average theater. Enough space for kids to stand up and wiggle if they need to or for a parent and a child to walk through a row easily. I also doubt there is a bad seat in the house. My little ones had no problem seeing the stage with people seated in front of us. I also LOVED how the actors/puppeteers were all in the lobby after the show with puppets to meet and take photos with the kids. It wasn't rushed either. Each one took the time to speak to my kids and interact with them through the puppets. It was just a few seconds of play with each person but it was so personal and meaningful. If you have children, even if you don't think they'll like it or want to sit through a show, please give it a shot. You won't regret it and your kids won't forget it!! More...

We love visiting the theatre. It has been a great opportunity to introduce our children to the theatre while still being a fun atmosphere. They have concessions available, aisles are wide, and the house lights aren't complete dim! They also have camp which we just learned about and our children loved! We will keep returning to both! I took my daughter here for the opening weekend of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It was such a nice little theater. The show felt intimate. Concessions were very reasonably priced and the lines moved quickly. The show was wonderful and my 2 yr old was entertained the whole time. Merchandise was available for purchase after the show, as well as the option for season tickets. I went ahead and took advantage of the 6-show season tickets for $69/person.  The performers came out and posed for pictures with everyone that wanted one. Very nice people. We have purchased season tickets and have loved every single show!  Show lengths seem to be between 45-50 minutes which is perfect for going school age kiddos! We've also enjoyed the behind the scenes sneak peeks with being a season pass holder. We definitely plan to purchase season passes for the upcoming year.
