Super friendly staff. Parking was confusing but the property was gorgeous. The omelette bar on weekends was amazing. The guy who checked us in made the omelettes and they were so good. Will stay again.

Pleasant facility, did have trouble with shower (getting water to route thru the shower head instead of the spigot is a very unusual mechanism and the temperature control, it was 78 degrees all night until we got staff clarification the second day). I just had my wedding here September 14th, 2019 and WOW! I can’t say enough good things about this place and their staff! Milan went well above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was perfect and was there from early Friday morning til Sunday morning making sure we didn’t need anything and everything was perfect . Also, Dwayne at the front desk was always happy, helpful, and had a smile on his face! He saw my shirt that was a Harry Potter reference and made a sign to the ballroom with a reference to the movie for us. Attention to detail for sure! Everyone who came said it was the best wedding and best food they’ve had! If you are planning a wedding, i HIGHLY recommend the Lodge for all your wedding needs. Paul, the owner, will be right there for you every step of your planning process to make sure you have a perfect day. It was a great place overall. The workout room was too small and only had a treadmill, elliptical and one other machine. It felt like it was in an old storage closet. Also the style was pretty dated. When we got to our room the door to the porch was unlocked and it was ground level. We checked and cleared the room but it was odd. It was in a great location however. We just got married here on September 14th and cannot day enough good things! Paul was incredible through the whole planning process and made sure everything was perfect for our day! Milan made sure everything ran smoothly for our rehearsal and day of and did an amazing job and anytime we needed ANYTHING he was there to take care of it with a smile! Also, Dwayne at the front desk was also so great and kept the mood light for sure! The free breakfast with omelette station was much better than other hotels Ive stayed at. The hotel is approx 30 minutes from just about any sites or towns you may want to visit. Downsides were duat bunnies under the bed, food crumbs in the nightstand drawer and the outside could use a coat of paint. Staff was excellent. Would definitely stay again. More...

The staff was friendly, the room was in good condition, room service staff was very friendly and did a great job. She even came back after my husband had woke up to give more towels and make the bed. The continental breakfast was good, they had someone making omelets for guests, I didn’t partake. We ate at the restaurant on Friday night and service was slow, but food was good and our waitress was friendly. Overall I was pleased with my experience and would definitely stay here again. This hotel was a nice gem. On the water kinda. Boat access. Place to park a boat. Close to town. Friendly staff. Room was good for my needs. Don’t need fancy tv. Had one that works. A frigid in the room. Also if you fish they had a big freezer. Liked the location. Had a room right on the st with a nice lil patio. Only down fall staff is not there all day as it’s a smaller place. Our room was spacious and clean. The lady that checked us in explained that we should have been charged an extra $30.00 via Travelocity for double occupancy because our kids are 15 years of age. She was nice enough to let it go.

Alright, 3ish.. So they had to earn the four by having an outstanding service oriented staff. The lodge had a long history so if you are looking a brand new building for twice the price there are plenty to gamble on. The beds were brand new and very comfortable and the room was clean.
