Walked in today to look for something good on the grill. Was greeted by a nice young lady that asked if I needed any help. Told her I was just looking for a minute. She immediately told me the specials they had for Labor Day weekend. When I picked a Wagyu Tomahawk our she said these are good reverse seared. Told her thank you and that’s how I did my regular Tomahawks. Great to see them not only selling a product but also throwing in input on how to prepare it for those that may not know how. They also always have fun specialty items that are always fun. In the summer we love to hit the farmers market for veggies and Local Yocal for meats. Good experience, Bad experience, Great experienceOrdered and picked up a whole hog last Sunday. Great service and pickup was easy. Back home a couple of hours later received a call that I was given the wrong hog and had to go back for an exchange. I was really mad since I live more than 20 miles from store and I asked to check my hog before leaving to be sure it was what I ordered. Drove back with the gloves on ready to request the owner for a talk only to be received by a lot of apologies and compensation for my problems in the form of various WAGYU steaks. Never had to argue, as soon as I got in they offered them for my troubles along with their apologies. To me, that's a GREAT experience with customer service. BTW, their WAGYU is awesome and buttery. What could have been a negative review turned out to be a great dinner experience with my family. Will DEFINITIVELY buy from them again. More...
