Heard great things about this place. Atmosphere and food included. I hate to say my experience was anything but great. I can’t even comment on the food that we were set to order. We walked right in with the hostess and directed us to our seat directly in the sun. It took a minute for our waitress to come over but as she was taking care of her tables she kept checking in and letting us know a Few more minutes. She was great! My children were getting uncomfortable hot and thirsty so I made my way back to the hostess to see about moving to another seat. She let me know there was now about a 30 minute wait for shaded seating. So I let her know I would check with my husband and see his thoughts. By the time I got back to our seats the waitress had approached us and was so friendly. We mentioned we may go back to the front to wait for new seats. She told us not to worry to go ahead and give her our drink order and she would move us to a table that was waiting to be cleaned. Said she would meet us at the new table with our drinks. So my husband and daughter went to the new table and I waited for it to be ready for us to sit down. The hostess notices as she sitting another family at another table, she walks straight up to my husband and told him we could not sit there and that their was a wait. Which I had let our waitress know what the hostess had previously told me and she still said it was fine. By this time we’re about 20- 25 mins into our visit and still had no drinks. My toddler isn’t the most patient person so I knew her fuse was short. We decided to go but as we began to leave the waitress approached us and we explained we would leave that it wasn’t her fault. She offered my children their drinks, water and lemonade (which I greatly appreciated) my husband asked to speak to a manager and We met with JP and he let us know he could get us the next available shaded seat. By this point it just seemed like it had become a big enough thing that I let him know I felt embarrassed and was just going to leave. I let him know we were really looking forward to giving this place a try. That we knew for next time that their is a separate wait list for shaded seating. On my way out we had to walk directly past the hostess and to only walk by as she is speaking to her coworker about the situation in a unprofessional way. My family took their seats in the Car and she was still talking about it. While her coworker was assisting new guests arriving. So I just approached her and explained I wasn’t upset with her that that seat was just too hot for my children. That I had let our waitress know what she had previously told me but ensured us it was ok. I said in future it would just be better for her to approach her coworker instead Of putting us in a completely awkward situation and that she really should put the guest in the middle or to handle the situation the way she had. I really hope to come back again. Just need to better plan it with the kiddos and making sure to ask for a shaded seat if it’s hot. If anything I really hope the hostess takes this as a learning experience if she plans to remain in costumer service. More...

The food was not good, and when I checked in here and spoke about the food with my friends (all from Texas) the page decided to make fun of and patronize my comments. The service was slow (enough that they brought pickles as an apology), the BBQ was not like anything I've ever had in the south (dad from Memphis, and I've lived in TX for almost a decade), and was not in any kind of style or flavor I've ever had in any of the regions I've eaten BBQ. I've never eaten BBQ on a hoagie, but that's just me, as well as the friends I spoke about it with. Add that to the poor professionalism and attitude of whomever is running their page, I definitely don't recommend this place. Maybe next time, just take the loss of two customers instead of patronizing them. More...

Reunion with our friends catching up on good times that ended in waiting forever for our next drink orders. Our waitress practically ignored our table. When we did catch her attention she showed serious attitude. Half the table got service while the remainder of us sat her like WTF!
