Today I experienced The Lisa Project, for the very first time. It was definitely an emotional experience that I believe everyone should go through. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, I highly recommend that you go through the tour, if you are able. So glad that this is available here in Kings County. More...

I toured the Lisa project last year as I was completing my novel 'Chocolate Flowers' and found it inspiring as so many of us are victims told to never discuss the horrific event or even worse, told we lied as 'he' would never do such a thing. Bringing awareness that 'it' is just as likely that boys can be victims as girls is also important. Thanks to the Lisa project for being such a powerful tool to bringing awareness and opening people's hearts to becoming aware. Jori Nunes More...

The Lisa project is a very touching, meaningful, and impactful exhibit. Very important issue for healthcare workers to be aware of signs of abuse.

Wow.... A moving experience start to finish. The complete comprehensive snapshot is tempered with Realistic sights, sounds and smells. So many views from the eyes of little ones as well as what this stuff means to the future of children involved in cycle of dysfunction. All delivered in a compassionate environment. More...
