We needed an attorney to update and rewrite our will and trust, now that our kids are adults.   We researched a number of different north county coastal firms and then we interviewed three.  Asha Wilbun was the obvious choice after conducting the interviews.  She came across as professional, very knowledgeable, and personal.  We set up an appointment for the process of creating our will (and other documents) and she came directly to our house.  She reviewed our old will and trust and then we discussed all the things that had changed since the old documents were written 20 years ago, based upon this review we all agreed that a new set of documents were in order.After a thorough question and answer session she departed our house and generated the new documents.  She then emailed us a draft for our review.  We made a few changes, which she incorporated before coming back to our house with the final set of documents.  She delivered the final documents to us and we signed them on our kitchen table, and she then notarized everything!The entire set of documents are very well done.  She handled each and every special request that we made, and she helped us straighten out a Quit Claim Deed issue that had lingered for years.  The final product is presented in a leather book with nicely detailed tabs for each section.  She explained each section and answered all questions that we had, and she invited us to call her anytime we had questions.  She also stated that she would contact us if any laws change that affect our documents.Last but not least, I was very impressed with her communication and her punctuality.  She said she would be at our house at 11:00 am,  and the doorbell rang at 11:00:00.  I like that.I would strongly recommend Asha to others.  She did an outstanding job. We heard about the Law office of Asha J. Wilbun from the Nextdoor website. Several families in the Encinitas/Carlsbad area had recommended her as a trustworthy, knowledgeable, local estate planning attorney. She responded to my email quickly and we set up a consultation. I was extremely impressed by her professionalism, genuine integrity and passion for estate planning.  My husband and I had not updated our wills and trusts since we had had children and we were a little overwhelmed with some of the loose ends we wanted to tie up. Asha explained everything in very clear, concise terms and walked us though everything scenario we needed to consider when drafting our wills/trust. We had a wonderful experience with Asha. She is knowledgeable and professional. We used her service to set up our family trust, do our wills and health care directives. She came to our home where we discussed our needs. She emailed us a draft to look over, made the desired changes and had it ready for us quickly. I needed to have our Living Trust reviewed since it has been over 10 years since we originally had it done.  I found Asha on Yelp and read all of her great reviews.  I called Asha and she spent time on the phone finding out about my situation and needs.  We decided to set up a meeting to further discuss revising my Trust.  Asha was great, she looked over my Trust and we both came to the conclusion that it would be best to re-write the Trust since so much had changed over the last 10 years.  After making some needed changes she developed a draft of the new Trust for me to review.  After a few more tweaks, she finalized it and we signed everything at my house.  She made the process easy to understand and I feel confident in her knowledge to put together a quality Trust.  I would not hesitate to contact her with any future needs that I may have.  Thanks Asha! Asha is a very dedicated attorney with the ability to listen to your wishes and needs and then transpose it into every day language that you can understand.
