Now that my husband and I are settled in from our honeymoon, I can now make a review that The Laurels truly deserves! First off, the attention to detail that the venue holds is outstanding! The Laurels truly is a gem of a venue for Southeast Texas. From the day we booked our venue for our wedding, Kathy and Joslyn went out of their way providing the best service. From helping with the colors, food, decor, to even dealing with all of my vendors they were there 100%!! Looking back on our wedding there isn't a thing that I would change. This team did my daughters wedding. It was everything she and my wife had dreamt about. They made sure everything went as planned, that my wife and I as well as the happy couple had time to eat and enjoy the event. My daughters wedding took place last Saturday at The Laurels. It was beautiful! Exactly what they envisioned! Thank you to the staff, especially Cathy, for being so very accommodating for our need to reschedule on more than one occasion! The bridal planning package is definitely worth the money for what you save working through the vendors and the stress you save yourself! All of my guests loved the decor and food and all congratulated us on a fantastic wedding. I can't wait to see the photos! I will be sure to share them if you would like to use them. Lauren, Kathy, and everyone at The Laurels, thank you for making our Wedding so wonderful. Many thought I was crazy to plan our wedding in 5 months, but you made it a breeze. You saw my vision for our Mexican Fiesta, and made it more than anything I could have ever imagined. From the wedding invitations, to the flowers, and everything in between, it was amazing. The team blew me away when we got there from the ceremony at the church. It was pouring down rain, but the professionals you are, you had transformed the whole place to make it so that the rain wouldn't stop the party. I would recommend The Laurels to anyone planning a special event, and highly suggest your team to make it all come together. Without you, our Wedding would not have been as fabulous. My daughter's wedding was held in the courtyard on March 19, 2016. The reception was in the banquet room. Kathy, Lauren, Dana, and Jocelyn made sure the event was utterly beautiful. The entire venue was open and our guests were treated with the best of southern hospitality. No detail was overlooked, and our guests are still telling us that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever been to. The ladies of The Laurels took care of the flowers and silver decor, room set up, and the ceremony/reception schedule . During the reception, they would personally go to the members of the wedding party and make sure that they had something to eat and drink as well as make sure that we were in the right place at the right time. If they were feeling any stress, we never knew it. They were smiling and helpful during the entire time. Our experience with the ladies of The Laurels was an absolute joy. My husband and I had our wedding at The Laurels in March. It was absolutely everything we could have ever wanted thanks to Kathy and Lauren. They did a phenomenal job! We live out of state and having Kathy as our planner made everything so much easier and stress free! They gave us recommendations for vendors and provided us with assistance wherever we needed it. My husband and I fell in love with this venue the moment we stepped foot on the property. Luckily, it wasn't all just beauty. Kathy and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with and they made our day a dream come true. Kathy is an expert on all things wedding, and we had little to worry about.
