Good breads, muffins, cookies! One suggestion: Don’t have product out where customers can see it if you’re not planning to sell it. I was in earlier this week and asked the woman about the multigrain. She told me a little about it, and I asked for a loaf. She checked with a woman doing some baking, and told me she couldn’t sell it because it was going to Agricole. My daughter and I took the French Macaron class today at the bakery. Highly recommend! It was fun, and very informative. Chef Keegan has a wonderful sense of humor and also incorporated some basic chemistry lessons into the class. Our finished products perhaps were not perfect, but they tasted AWESOME and with practice, we may be able to recreate a passable macaron! More...

I believe everyone has some sort of genius within, you just have to find it. Keegan, the owner and baker at Lighthouse Bakery has definitely found his! His biscotti has just the right amount of crunch, the oatmeal cookie had a delicious buttery flavor and the seven grain bread...my husband ate half the loaf the first day! We accidentally/not accidentally bought a pan too many of dinner rolls for Thanksgiving. Six days later, not only are they still good, they made the most to-die-for garlic bread to go with our spaghetti dinner that I have ever tasted. Bravo! I absolutely love The Lakehouse Bakery!! I recently discovered him and his extraordinary talent at the Chelsea farmers' market! I love baked goods, but I have Celiac, so I have had to cut out gluten...aka baked goods. But yay! He has some gluten free options and they are perfection!!! So delicious and moist. My favorites that I have tried are his muesli/granola mix and carrot-pineapple muffins. I can't wait to get a little treat and wish I lived closer so I could every day!
