My best friend attended Georgetown College and had always wanted to see the inside of the castle, so when we found out they were doing tours, we planned a trip to see it for the holidays. The lunch was wonderful and the weather was mild enough that we got to see the grounds as well. When we found out the proceeds from the tours fund Princess Parties and other events for children with cancer, we knew the price we’d paid was worth every penny. The tour guide, Erin, was funny and entertaining, and went out of her way to make our visit memorable. I’ll definitely be going back in the summer with my mom! More...

I first found out about the Kentucky Castle several years ago and drove by, just to see it. I kind of forgot about it until recently, when I looked up info about it, just to see what was going on there I was happy to see that they were doing tours there, so my mom and I did a tour of it and loved it. Our trip ended basically here at the castle.. 1st time to Kentucky, As we drove pass the castle I knew I had to make a point to go. We bought our tickets very easy online. Erin the lady over our tour was very knowledgeable and funny! My dinner was fantastic and the castle alone was beautiful! My friend and I had an amazing time and took some great photos! We will definitely be back.

Magic Concrete Design
I seen this castle from the road for the last 10 years I have lived in Kentucky. I figured since we are moving to Texas soon we should take the advantage of chance of spending the nite in a castle. I wasn’t sure how “dressed up” I would have to be. And both me and the hubby are collectors of tattoos I wasn’t sure just how the service would treat us. I was shocked! It was decorated for Christmas and done beautifully. (Expect for the huge creepy owl )The front desk was so nice. They walked us to our suite and handed us a old school key. No electronic key that u get locked out of 2x a day. That was a plus. We stayed in the presidential suite. It was huge. Great tall ceilings, our own little eating room but no microwave. Stocked mini bar. The bed was dreamy! We had our own door to a shared balcony which was nice. The tub was jetted but we didn’t use it. Very nice room. We ordered room service. The employees who delivered it to us was nice and it was very tasty. The pork chop was the winner! The hubby stole from my plate it was so good. Bottom line is I think every couple should take a day away from home and kids and just relax here. It’s a little pricey but we stayed in a CASTLE! More...

Went for Sunday brunch. Food was delicious. We walk around the castle afterwards and over to the farm. With a bit more research and planning I can see it being a very enjoyable place spend a weekend. My husband grew up in KY and we've driven by the castle so many times, so to stay overnight was a surreal experience. The building and grounds are lovely, but what made the experience most memorable was the excellent customer service, especially from the Guest Experience Manager, Phillip McKee.
