We came to Iron Oven for Valentine’s Day. Last minute, no reservations. They told us 35 minutes, we waited maybe 15. My husband is a steak snob, nothing compares to Disney. I placed an order tonight to pick up. 2 NY strips one with fries a plain burger and 2 taco salads. The kind woman who took my order even read everything back and all was correct. I went to pick up my dinner and all that was put through the system was 2 NY strips and the burger. Wtf. The gentleman standing next to me for his order was waiting forever he said. Why is it everytime I am in there or order something gets f'd up. I have not been back to eat here in a long time and now I remember why. I’m mostly impressed by the high quality of the food. Been ordering on line for most of 2020 and this place has continuously adjusted to the government mandates to provide outstanding service and delicious food. This placed is built to last for sure. Some surprises...the creative pizza menu will amaze the snobby and I recommend using their catering. Because they are so great, we placed an order New Year’s Eve. While my order was late, I was blown away by the perfection. A New York strip medium rare and perfectly seasoned, the pork loin and a chicken sandwich were all superb. While I waited for my order, I saw HUGE catering orders go out, like a dozen pizzas, salad, and appetizers for one customer. I was worried due to the high volume, maybe quality was lowered, but obviously not. Thank you Iron Oven for continuing to adapt and evolve to stay afloat! Great place to meet up with family and friends. There is a wide variety and monthly updates to the menu. Great beverage selections, and awesome staff and service! Recently, I found a Tuna Tartar appetizer on the menu that is not only beautiful in presentation but was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long time! Just ordered through door dash. Order was wrong,missing items and took over an hour to get delivered. When I called the girl argued with me about my order. I ended up having to go to the restaurant to have my food fixed as one of my items sat on the counter getting cold. No manager came out. I paid for delivery and a tip for nothing. We had a really nice lunch today -- it was our first time trying Iron Oven. Boneless wings were tasty -- can't wait to try the other sauce flavors. Hubs got the chicken parm stromboli and loved it. The chicken was lightly breaded, just right -- and the stromboli was huge! He took more than half home for leftovers. I had the French Onion burger, cooked perfectly medium. I don't typically like "coated" fries, but these were lightly coated and quite tasty. My only constructive feedback would be the French Onion burger topping has too much thyme -- it's a bit overwhelming. I love thyme and cook with it often, but cutting the amount to about 1/3 of what was used would give a more subtle flavor. Overall, we really enjoyed everything and made a reservation for next Sunday before we left. More...
