One of the best hot dog places I've been so many different styles to choose from I went with the Justin and the Mac Daddy fries portion sizes are huge and food is full of flavor only thing I can say is I waited quite some time for my order though I was the end of the lunch rush

Food was delicious.. DEFINITELY recommend and I will be back... I don't give 4 stars often.... i brought my Tuesday food group here tonight (21 people). . First time visit this early evening, and I was very happy to see meatless options !! The gal was helpful with making suggestions to the gentleman who was in line before me. Some of her recommendations sounded mouth watering!! I asked about a veggie hot dog and she mentioned the screamin vegan demon and listed the ingredients and I was sold! As my food was being prepared I was able to watch some college basketball and enjoy my beverage. During that time, I went to the powder room and when I returned my garlic fries and screamin demon veggie hot dog were on the table! The presentation was very appealing ! I was very excited to have my tastebuds be awaken with joy!My First bite was disappointing. The temperature of my food was not hot, the grilled onions and mushrooms were lukewarm at best, the veggie hot dog was cool. Granted my table was near a ceiling fan.  I can notonly imagine food items that are to be cooked at a minimum of 135 degrees would drop to lukewarm within 2-3minutes. The garlic fries were warm but still had their crispy texture, form, and flavour so they were edible. I think the garlic and Parmesan may have been a benefit.Considering restaurants follow a Temperature control for potentially hazardous foods. Which means Every food item has a specific internal cooking temperature and holding temperature. I was quite surprised that my food became cool so quickly. I was just planning to take it home and heat it in the toaster oven but when I asked for a box? I let the gal know it was cold she told the cook and he said he would make another one. But the last thing I wanted to do was go home and prepare a meal, hence my dining out. Fortunately, The replacement was served hot! I even had to let it sit for a minute to cool down before I could take a bite. I am grateful that they were able to turn my situation around and I finished my meal with a smile. This small, family owned restaurant packs big choices and big flavor. Their menu selection is unique, but features classics as you have never had before. It is easy to get overwhelmed by the choices, but the friendly staff will help pick out the one thing you didn't know you wanted to savor. The inside has a sports bar feel, with several TVs playing games or news (but at a respectable volume), many sports venue related posters and signs, and a few video/pinball machines. So I have been going here for some time now. It all started when this small shop opened up and found a small void in the market. So good damn hot dogs. When you walk in, the first thought is that there are too many hot dogs to look at and decide from. I have to say, I have never had a bad dog from this place. My favorite thing to get now is the dog of the day. I let the chefs decide for me. If they say it's on special, screw it, it must be good. This time, the special was an elite dog cover with Mac and cheese, grilled corn and parm. Trust me, it was good. Also, had to grab a basket of fries. When you get fries, grab some wonder sauce. It is so good and will make you wonder what is in it. Now, I am giving this place four stars. I thought about a three star review. I know it reads differently but it is my feelings behind it. We ordered for six people. Service at this place has seen better days. The company change ownership from when I started coming here. When I first started coming, the owner walked around asking people how the meal was and chatted table side with the customers. It was very satisfying. Now, it seems more about pushing people in and out than the experience. I changed from a three star to a four star because we ordered food for the kids that never came. They made it correct without a fight. I love their food. Doesn't miss a beat. Make hot dog shoppe great again. Bring back the personal experience back. Stop making it just about the cash. Wiener, wiener, hot dog dinner! My BFF and I stopped by the Hot Dog Shoppe in Norco for a quick bite to eat after 3-hours of exploring hobby lobby - aka, our #1 hobby. Walking up to the menu was a bit overwhelming since there are a large number of signature items. Luckily, the gentleman at the counter did a fantastic job guiding us in the right direction. He helped me narrow down the options by marking off any menu items that contained beef or were too spicy. There was also a separate menu that listed their most famous hot dogs! I ended up choosing the Hillbilly Crunch from the Top 20! This dog comes wrapped in bacon, topped with chili, Fritos, Mac & Cheese, and their famous wonder sauce. I customized the dog by changing the meat to pork and removing the chili sauce.
