I live in LA and wanted to send my friend who lives in OC a gift for planning my bridal shower. I did not want flowers that looked like they were ordered from 1800Flowers or Teleflora keeping in mind I had a specific budget. I found the Hive on Yelp and decided to give them a chance. I was concerned my $60 or $80 with tax and delivery fees arrangement would look small and sad in person. It did not! First they sent me a photo of the florals before it was delivered to check how I liked it and I loved it, it was lush and looked like the online photo. I could not be happier with our beautiful mother's day arrangement! We placed the order the same day and it was ready within 3-4 hours. We asked for a whimsical English garden and that's exactly what we got. Our initial arrangement came with a lot of white roses that we weren't in love with (our fault...we did not specify this with our order) but the lovely ladies at the Hive changed out the white flowers and added vibrant roses and orchids to create the arrangement of our dreams. We called The Hive last minute for an arrangement. They were super friendly on the phone and started the order right away, promising it would be done in 15-20 minutes. Marsha and her amazing team at the Hive did the flowers for my wedding. I cannot begin to express how stunning they were. Marsha exceeded all of my expectations and my bridal bouquet was the most beautiful one I have ever seen . My husband's boutonnière received so many compliments as well! This was an AMAZING experience using THE HIVE!I called explained what I wanted and how I Reeeeeeeaallly needed it same day. I'm so glad I found this shop. I popped in today to pick up flowers for a dear friend who lost her husband unexpectedly, and the ladies in the shop made up a beautiful arrangement for me in no time at all. While I was waiting, I found a tin of tea, and they wrapped it up for me so I could head right over to console her. Found this super cute floral shop while grabbing coffee. It's a cute boutique that makes chic arrangements, but it's EXPENSIVE. Be prepared to spend a lot for a decent bouquet. I would still come here despite the prices. If you're not into trendy bouquets, go to the grocery store, but if you like something different and cute, this is a good place. More...

I have ordered flowers for my home for different holidays and was always happy with the arrangements.  They are not just flowers thrown in a vase.  Beautiful flowers that last in very creative arrangements.  This past week I called at the last minute to have flowers delivered the next morning for a funeral.  I did not attend, but I got a call today telling me that the flowers were fabulous and the family argued over who got to take them home.  Marsha is the best.  The store is great too for interesting gifts.  It is a gem and you should definitely go. WOW!!!!!  This was my first time using The Hive and I will be back.  I ordered an upgraded arrangement based off a picture from the website and it's extraordinary.  I am a notorious florist snob and it takes a lot to impress me, but these did the trick.  I will admit they were expensive but talk about getting what you pay for.  This was part of a 40th birthday gift and I was super nervous using a place I'd never used before, but they lived up to the reviews here not to mention being very nice when I called to confirm delivery (which was also right on time).If you need a new florist in the OC, look no further! I went in at the end of the day to order flowers for my supervisor that was in the hospital. These ladies went above and beyond for me. The arrangement that they put together was beautiful and it lasted a very long time. They were even able to find the correct person to deliver it to at the hospital even though I gave them the wrong room number. The compliments that I received from those flowers that were sent were so numerous. I really appreciate this florist and how they do their business. The quality and beauty of the arrangement surpassed anything I had ever seen. I totally completely appreciate  how they took care of getting the arrangement delivered even though it was near the end of their day. Lisa at Elegant Hive made my day! My daughter's graduation was yesterday at USC.  I had called another florist twice a week before and was assured they would have leis to choose from to pick up, no pre-order was necessary. ..they lied. After picking up a bouquet for my mom's birthday this past Saturday, I was very disappointed that the flowers did not last for an entire day. There's really no way to write a review that would convey how happy we are with our wedding flowers from Marsha at Elegant Hive. They were absolutely perfect! The entire process start to finish with her was a breeze and their prices were very reasonable (especially compared to other wedding florists). Marsha was able to get a good feel for what we were looking for with our pinterest pictures and was careful to stay within our budget. She was responsive and professional during pre-wedding meetings, on-time day-of and ensured everything was perfect for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
