The guitar attic in my honest opinion is the best specialty guitar store in northeast Florida. I’m a self proclaimed guitar fanatic and have visited many stores over my 40 years of playing, and this store is on the top of my list! The owner, Randy is an experienced musician and a guitar aficionado and probably has one of the best collections of standard and vintage guitars, basses and amps in all of Florida. Great place!! Best place by far for vintage used quality guitars and basses in the area. Very educated staff owner Randy knows his stuff but isn't arrogant you want something just ask he'll do his best to get it or he'll tell you he can't very straight forward.

Fantastic store and service. Spoke with the owner and said I had just received a copy of Rocksmith from my friend and was interested in trying electric coming from acoustic. I have been dealing with Randy Pepper for over 10 years now. From day one, as a total newb, he never pressured or led me down a stray path. he listened to my story, took an interest, and helped me pick out a guitar and the same day I started lessons with my still teacher to this day, Jerry Hemby. Randy's character is above reproach....he will not rip you off. He will not overcharge you. Always has a greats election of instruments for you to move to as you develop your skills. Had an electronic problem with an AVRI Jazzmaster which two previous shops (one in Daytona, one in Raleigh, NC) couldn't figure out. Took it to Guitar Attic, and the tech fellow who does work for the shop finally fixed the problem. Very happy with the service, and the service cost was very reasonable. I appreciate "Mr. Tech's" figuring out the mystery. Also, really like the vibe of the shop and the helpfullness and courteousness of the owner. More...

The guitar tech Steve works on Friday and Saturday.... Had a setup done at Total Entertainment that was giving me fits so I decided to give Guitar Attic a try. Steve determined that the nut was low on the problem string... Now it's much better... I made some setup adjustments on my own and now have my epi dot just about right.. Probably needs a new nut and saddles.... I'll most likely spend about $400 more because I want to install MinE-T-Tune, compensating nut, and upgraded saddles.. They could have also sold me strap locks but forgot I asked for them.I also brought a Hofner Bass kit that I couldn't seem to wire without a diagram... Steve and I figured it out with a little troubleshooting... It's great to have a second set of eyes and some help when it's needed....Evidently the owner will string guitars thru the week but I am not sure. It's a little challenging to find out what problems they can solve. The fixes were very reasonably priced but I would have spent at least 4 times the amount if I felt they wanted to make sure I had a great experience with my musical endeavors. More...
