I can’t speak highly enough about The Grove and it’s owner, Kathy. Picking our venue was our first priority, and we toured nearly 11 or so, really stressing if we would find the perfect place. Once we visited The Grove, we both knew it was the place for us. It’s indoor/outdoor atmosphere fit our November wedding so nicely, lending itself to a fun dance floor and long rows of tables on the inside, and yard games and the bar on the outside. With our ceremony under the big tree overlooking the creek, it was just a dream! While the venue itself is gorgeous, what really prompted us to book was Kathy. From the moment we met her, it’s like Kathy stepped into our vision of a wedding and knew exactly the right people to help. She showed us around the venue giving us endless options, good tips and suggestions, and in general she just really went the extra mile for us. We ended up booking a wedding coordinator she works with often, who we had happened to meet prior, and them working together was so great. It was like we had two people helping us plan and execute! That’s how dedicated Kathy is. She really gets to know her brides and grooms, and is always there to answer a question or offer a suggestion. The venue offers so much: a private groom's space, a private bride's space, indoor reception hall, outdoors yards and patios for cocktail hour, spacious bathrooms, a great kitchen for catering, and 3 ceremony locations (inside, by the creek, patio overlooking the creek). There are many options to book packages with their preferred vendors (which we did not do but I would recommend looking into — by chance we ended up booking a lot of their preferred vendors), various rental times lengths, and tables and chairs as well if you’re not renting elsewhere. We had a tough time finding a place that fit our style, that offered a long enough rental time (without charging an arm and a leg for extra hours!), and enough space to have a lot going on both indoors and outdoors.
