I needed flowers for an Open House at my job. Jaime helped walk me through different styles/ideas for the event and was able to answer all of my questions. The flowers were delivered on time and were absolutely stunning! We received many compliments on them throughout the day and the bouquets lasted for almost an entire month! DEFINITELY worth it! I am writing this after just stopping at the Gardener’s Center and Florist yesterday, 09/25/2019.In brief: I shopped from 10AM-3PM for Autumn and Holiday (Halloween, Dia de Los Muertos, Thanksgiving, etc. ..). They have such a diverse and interesting plant selection that I could have easily shopped until they closed. The plants were well placed, identified, healthy and strong. The facility was very surprisingly clean, especially considering their forte is with plants in dirt. The crew: Dan, Chip, Nathan, Jaime, Joy, Inez, and the incomparable Lauren were so wonderfully helpful. Dan’s knowledge and charming nature was such a lovely and rare thing to find today. All of the gentlemen were so pleasant and professional. They made it such an extraordinary visit. That could be one of the reasons I was there for so long, although I did buy a bit. If you have any concerns about lifting or carrying heavy dirt filled plant containers there is no need. The gentlemen will do all of that for you. You just have to point. The outside is really just as nice as the inside. They filled up my car and even offered to deliver it for me. I would have taken thrir kind offer but I really like going there, A LOT. And you will, too! They even have a section of past flowered plants, ferns, local wild flowers, etc...which is on sale 1/2 price. You cannot beat that. And inside they have a lovely section of thoughtful fun gifts that will save you from worrying and scratching your head for days! I absolutely had to have this “new” magnetized floating succulent/air plant vase which I am unfortunately gifting my sweetheart for his work for taking me and my best friend to our 3-week/3 Hawai’ian island holiday!!! Oh well, I will just have to buy another the next time I go. The Gardener’s Center and Florist is a Garden/Floral center of the highest calibre. I do recommend you wear comfy shoes and a bottle of water so you can stay longer because I know you are going to want to do just that! More...

The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful in getting me to success in finding the specific house plant I wanted. On my first visit, they didn't have the size but told me a shipment was on the way . On my second visit, when I thought the new one was too short, they offered to raise it up with a foam base in my pot. On my third visit, a different person did just that and I'm looking at a gorgeous plant in my office as I write this. The Gardener's Center is my go-to place for ordering bouquets and other arrangements, plus annuals, perennials, and all other plants. Jaime did the flowers for our wedding at the Waveny House in New Canaan, CT and she did a fantastic job! Everything looked perfect and it was just what I wanted. .. and I'm amazed at how identical the alter flowers looked compared to the Pinterest picture I gave her. She did a fantastic job at decorating the church and the reception. She was so professional that she was in and out at each of the locations before I showed up and I'm sorry I didn't get to see her and thank her for all of her wonderful work that day. ....and they only stock earth friendly products!!

The Gardeners Center is my favorite place to buy indoor and outdoor plants, or just to go and browse on the weekend. Staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The high-quality plant selection is wide and healthy, and they have a nice assortment of ornamental sculptures and glazed pots. The indoor store also has nice gift items, especially at Christmas. They have a small menagerie of resident pet birds, a couple of easygoing nursery cats, and a German shepherd named Anna who loves to play tug-of-war with her favorite rope toy.
