Shelly is one of the sweetest people I have met in a long time. The venue is cozy and was all I needed for my parents 40th anniversary party. Which was last minute since the guest list outgrew my home. We had 100 people and had enough space for our bar, fruit table, a backdrop with sweet heart area. We were even able to dance. The caterer was able to use the kitchen for the plated meals. It is so helpful that there are tables and chiavari chairs so no need to rent those. The space works for more intimate gatherings. We had milestone life event and chose gallery event in plano! Shelly was very kind, nice and great host! I loved the fact that we had flexibility to chose our own vendors from food to bar tender to what nots! This is the perfect venue if you are looking for a grand intimate setting for your event. Its a sophisticated canvas for ANY event you have in mind. Flexible and spacious with a capacity for 120 people!!! When your guests arrive to your event at The Gallery Event Room they will say "WOW" ... nough said. As a Wedding Industry Professional its unfortunate to say that not all venues live up to the experience I had with the Owner at The Gallery Event Room today. She was present and on time, called us by name, answered all our questions, gave suggestions, a full tour, was very understanding of our needs and smiled the entire time. Our tour took longer then planned (because I didn't stop yapping about all the options I was visualizing would be great in the venue) yet she was still very accommodating. The Gallery Event Room was a perfect setting for the Celebration Of Life Memorial that we had for my late wife for family and friends.
It was set up very much like the photograph with tables and chairs, with white table cloths.
The owner, Shelly C. was very helpful and very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend this facility for any event requiring a space of this size.

I would highly recommend the Gallery Event room, we had our daughter's Sweet Sixteen party there and it was amazing . Very clean and elegant place to hold any event. Shelly was such a delight to work with and very helpful throughout the entire time. She followed thru every phone call and our every need. she is truly a amazing event host. This was a very nice place and it was easy to work with Shelley. The decorators selected for the wedding were impressed with the ceiling design. I am sure others have also made the room look great as it lends itself well to various themes. However, the Bride & Groom said their breathe was taken away when they saw how the room looked. Shelley had the tables all ready for the event when we came to complete our part of the preparations. The bathrooms were large enough for the Bride to stay out of site until time for the ceremony. Shelley helped us with various tips to hold down our cost. The only negative comment was not the fault of the Gallery, but the Bride & Groom were more popular than anticipated and the room was a bit crowded. That problem was resolved by removing a couple of the tables once the dinner was over.I would recommend this venue to others who are looking for an attractive place for their event. More...

Without a doubt, choosing the Gallery was one of the best choices we made when planning our wedding. Shelly (the owner) bent over backwards to accommodate us, was extremely responsive to all questions we had, and even helped us save some money by providing things she had for us to use as centerpieces. She does have (reasonable) rules, but as long as you follow those rules, and are forthcoming about what you want to do, she will do her best to make sure you are taken care of. The Gallery Event Room is a perfect venue for a small wedding. We had about 85 guests, a buffet line, DJ, Cake table, and Sign-in/Gift table that all fit into the room. Our guests said the event felt very intimate and loved the venue. Shelly is absolutely great to work with. She is very knowledgeable of the room and past events that have been held there. She can help you layout the room, recommend vendors, and work with you to make sure it is exactly what you want! She is easy to get a hold of via phone or email. I had my friend's birthday at The Gallery Event Room in Plano. The venue is very affordable, beautiful and Shelly, the owner, was fair, and honest. My family appreciated all the helpful advice and she was over-the-top accommodating. Shelly allowed us to use many items without extra charges, and she was very flexible with our payment. Never once did she hound us about payment, though, I was late giving her the remaining deposit.
