We had Shaena cater a cheese making and dinner party. She is a wonderful chef and very engaging. She got everyone involved and taught us all interesting techniques for cheese making and cooking other items for the dinner. It was a lot of fun and the food was great. Sheana was so knowledgeable about the sourcing of all the ingredients from local farms and had great wine pairings for the cheeses, dinner, and deserts. All in all a great evening to celebrate our friends birthday. Thanks to Sheana  for a great evening!!! More...

Sheana at the The Epicurean Connection catered my baby shower and the food was absolutely amazing! People were getting up for seconds and thirds and couldn't stop talking about how tasty it was it afterwards. Sheana was wonderful to work with. She provided us with several different menu options (that all sounded so good it was tough to narrow down!), and worked with us to meet all of our event needs. I definitely recommend Sheana and will use her again for future catering needs! More...

My family and I took a cheese making class last Sunday. What a great Sunday activity! They had a special table for the kids where they got to help and the adults made mozzarella and burrata. My oldest helped with mozzarella as well. Wine, cheese, crackers, and olives to snack on and juices for the kids. We all had a great time and recommend to couples, families or just friends looking for something new to try. Will definitely be back to try another class. Thanks you Sheana and Ben! More...

I had so much fun, learned so much, and enjoyed so much fab cheese and wine at a recent cheese-making class with them. They're both wine country natives and seem to know everything about locally-sourced food and wine. Sheana's Sonoma stories span decades and she and Ben are the best resource of where to go for fab ingredients and cuisine in the wine country. My fiancé and I took Sheana's cheese making class last weekend at The General's Daughter and it was absolutely fantastic! It started with a welcome reception of local wines and cheeses made by Epicurean Connection and staff, that were to die for ! We tried a Brie and their version of an aged white cheddar which has roasted green onions and garlic on it. Sheana has her brand of olive oil and balsamic, also divine, as well as her cold smoked onion jam. The class itself was informative and easy to follow. It wasn't hands on the entire time, but we got to get involved in just the right places like separating curds from whey. So much fascinating info was shared including her history, some town history and recipes. We ate the Creme di ricotta that we made in class in various shapes. Coins with evoo, a mold with onion jam and on crostini. We even walked away with a flour sack for draining (better than cheese cloth), cheese mold and custom tool made especially for The Epicurean Connection. The staff was superior. James was a young man who has been recognized for his cheesemaking and a great addition to Sheana's staff. Very knowledgeable. This was a unique and wonderful experience that locals and visitors can enjoy alike. More...

I attended a private event at The General's Daughter with The Epicurean Connection talking about cheese and how to make it.  What a wonderful experience!  I have not been to The General's Daughter since it was a wonderful restaurant so stepping into this home was quite a treat.  To hear Sheana Davis talk about the history behind the  home was quite fascinating as I did not know any of this information, that General Vallejo built it for one of his daughters as a wedding gift.  Fascinating! When Sheana was talking about cheese making, how you can add just about anything to her ricotta recipe, you could see the passion she had for teaching others about making cheese and that she enjoyed everything about it! And when she said "curds & whey" all I could think about was Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet eating her curds & whey!At this venue you can hold an event, weddings, team building, learn about cheese making, take cooking classes & more. They also have catering services. as well as their Pinot & Pizza Tuesdays for $20, and knowing that they can accommodate vegans, vegetarians and gluten intolerance is nice!  If anyone is interested in cheese making, cooking classes, or catering services, I would highly recommend The Epicurean Connection. Sheana Davis and her staff at Epicurean really out did themselves at a recent event I attended! Epicurean offered three stations at the event, each with a different cheese and different play on the cheese for the recipe. I do not even want to pick a favorite as all of them were extremely tasty and paired wonderfully with the wine we were sipping. All I know is the triple cream brie apricot with a buttered brioche bun set me back a couple pounds as I devoured way too many (Oh so good!).Had a wonderful time speaking with her knowledgeable staff who were thrilled not only to provide information on the dish, but answer my geek like cheese questions I threw at them. Sheana was even nice enough to hand out some instructions on some of the snacks she served that day, which was a great touch for those of us who were dying for more after we left. I will admit, I live in the town where Sheana hosts her cheese making classes, let's just say I may sign up for the next few to hone my lack there of cheese skills!
