From the moment we entered the hotel we felt like we were home. We were greeted with a smiling gentleman, who informed us of everything we needed to know. Our room was absolutely adorable. Huge spacious suite, overlooking Fox River..warm and cozy. I honestly haven't slept that good in a hotel ever.. We did not eat in the pub but went down to just enjoy the atmosphere, meeting the owner, whom was a delight.we loved being there. Breakfast was amazing!!!!.. We would love to come back in the summer months so we can enjoy the park and river... Thank you for an amazing stay!!! ☆☆☆☆☆ More...

I ordered the meatloaf. It tasted and felt like it was frozen and reheated. Flavor was fine but it would have been amazing if it was fresh. The potatoes were not fresh. We stayed in room 310- view of the parking lot.
