I can not say enough about the Embassy. Shellie and her staff went over and above to make sure our daughter’s and son-in-law’s wedding was perfect. I told Shellie we want an amazing cookie table. We supplied the cookies but without her talent we would not have had the best cookie table ever. The presentation was just amazing. If you are looking for a venue this is the place. We just had our wedding reception at The Embassy and we couldn’t have been more happy! The staff are so accommodating, supportive and resourceful. We simply cannot thank Shellie Lavene Patrick and her amazing staff enough! We hosted our high school football banquet at the The Embassy Banquet Centre, after using another facility, for as long as I can recall. So, switching venues was a little nerve wrecking. However, Shellie and the entire staff did not disappoint! From initial contact, to how accommodating she was, to her creative ideas for set up, Shellie is absolutely fabulous at her job! I also keep hearing about how wonderful the food was and am beyond thrilled that we already have a date booked for our next school banquet. Having my wedding at the Embassy was the best decision I’ve ever made. The Embassy staff is SO accommodating, friendly, and wonderful—- I felt like they were family. The entire event planning was made so easy and effortless thanks to Shellie. The set up of the room is perfect for a wedding reception and the bar locations keep people engaged in the room and dance floor all night long. The atmosphere is so clean, elegant, and spacious. The food is INCREDIBLE- I received so many compliments on how delicious the food was— I’ve been to the Embassy for multiple events and have NEVER had a less than delicious meal. SO GOOD. Shellie is an absolute dream to work with. From day one, she made me and my mom feel at such ease. She made sure everything was just so perfectly executed—- from the layout of the room, to the decor, the food, the skirting, the cookie table, the schedule of the night — she does not miss a trick and she makes sure it is everything you want it to be. I definitely have full trust in all of her ideas and decisions- she knows exactly what she is doing! Shellie is so accommodating, organized, and willing to work hard to help pull off any vision that a bride has. Even when she was not at work, she would reach out to me with ideas and suggestions—- I could never have dreamed of working with a better person for my wedding. The Embassy Banquet Centre made my dream wedding come true. Mike, Karen, Mallory, Shelly, and all of the wonderful staff brought their talent and skills to St. Michael’s family life center for our wedding. It ran so smoothly. They communicated with everyone and set up all week. My mother and I felt at complete ease after meeting with Shelly, who calmed us, gave us great recommendations, and guided us along the process. There is absolutely nothing I would change about our big day, all thanks to the embassy. The table decorations and layout was perfect and beautiful. Oh yeah, and the food! Wow! Everyone is still raving about the cocktail hour food, buffet selections, and cookies/chocolate/cake/cupcake table presentation! Everything was delicious and looked so elegant. I know there was a lot of work going on, but I didn’t know about it, that’s how smoothly it ran. I cannot thank them all enough for making it the most perfect wedding ever. I had my wedding reception at the embassy a few weeks ago and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Shellie and the rest of the staff were wonderful to work with. While planning, Shellie would make suggestions on things such as table skirting, room layout, etc., and all I can say is trust her opinion! She made the cookie table look incredible, a real stand out piece. The food was also amazing, I have received so many compliments saying this was the best food they've had at a wedding. We couldn't have imagined our wedding day any more perfect! Shellie was so helpful and so friendly to call and contact whenever I needed her. All of our wedding guests have raved about how amazing the food was at our wedding reception, and I can't thank the Embassy enough. Not only is the food delicious, but the room where our reception was held is gorgeous. There are also beautiful crystals hanging above the dance floor that give the guests an elegant feeling. Shelly was amazing to work with while planning my reception. Any questions or concerns I had was answered quickly. The staff made everything so easy the week of the wedding and I didn't worry about a thing. The staff also helped us back everything up at the end of the night. They all went above and beyond! The food is also delicious!! The chef does a great job and everything we selected was perfect! The chef was also more than willing to set aside a few portions of the food we select in order to prepare them appropriately for our gluten free friends and family. More...
