The best part of The Egg is the staff. They are warm, personable and very attentive. Maria is one of our favorites and we love all the staff! 1st time head while visiting Steamboat and I will definitely be back. If you're hungry get the breakfast burrito! It's a ton of food. I didn't even get the side of potatoes and I couldn't finish it. I half, and I was perfectly full so I took the other half back to the condo for breakfast the next day. I didn't find out until our way out that you can also get alcohol! BONUS!! More...

My husband and I stopped here for brunch on a Sunday morning. We made reservations online and only had to wait a couple minutes before we were seated. We started out by splitting a cinnamon roll which was absolutely mouth watering! It tasted like it was fresh out of the oven- very soft, warm, and full of flavor. I ordered the bacon & avocado egg sandwich with a side of potatoes. The bacon was extra crispy, avocado was fresh, and the grilled brioche bun added a unique twist to a standard breakfast sandwich. The side potatoes had a ranch seasoning and were perfectly cooked-soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Delicious! My husband had the biscuits & gravy with eggs. It was hard to judge the biscuits because there a heavy amount of gravy, but the flavor was really good. okay decided to give this place a try... it's literally dookie. the eggs were so shot and it's the name of the restaurant, they we're soupy and gross and the sausage tastes like they took a CD disk and breathed on it. .. and the pancake ah don't even get me started it look like it went through WW2 and then got threw across the country.. wouldn't recommend for takeout lol More...

I love breakfast dishes, so I'm always looking for breakfast/brunch spots where ever I'm visiting and with a search through Yelp and Google Maps, spotted this restaurant that thankfully still had outdoor dining (albeit it was freezing/snowing when we visited). I'm sort of tired of getting take-out all the time so was really glad they had their own patio seating. I double checked first with the outdoor seating and the staff was very accommodating, they turned on extra fireplace warmers so we can be warm.I ordered their Yampa Omelette with a side of country potatoes. The omelette's vegetables were tasty, especially loved their well seasoned potatoes (I'm a huge lover of breakfast potatoes). Boyfriend and I also ordered hot tea and coffee and was surprised that we each got our own jug of hot water/coffee for refills so that we didn't need to contact the staff too often.The staff was friendly and made sure all our food came out also checked that we were enjoying it. Food & Service was excellent! We had just left the hot springs and we were hungry, walked into the egg and asked if they were still taking dine in orders because we walked in about 10 minutes before close. They didn't hesitate prepped us a table and didn't rush us. We had two classic breakfast and the Arizona Turkey sandwich with the loaded potatoes. Everything delicious especially the loaded potatoes which the server recommended they add this homemade salsa which adds a little kick to it. The food and service were both fantastic! Â I had the spinach, mushroom, bacon omelette with a side of breakfast potatoes. All was cooked perfectly . I especially appreciated that the breakfast potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside - not over-cooked and not under-cooked. Also, they left a coffee pot on the table - I love that! Great brunch spot.We were driving through town on a roadtrip this summer and after contacting my cousin for brunch recommendations, one of his suggestions was The Egg. We stopped and enjoyed a hearty brunch that set us up well for several hours drive into ID. Fast and polite service and nice spacing during these Covid times. I went to my favorite restaurant for their Cobb salad, only to find it had been removed from the muni by the new owner.Yesterday, I went to The Egg for lunch and while I was skeptical about a lemon vinaigrette, the waitress put it on the side so I could decide (she had said it was good) well she was right and I have found my new favorite spot for Cobb salad! Stopped in for a late breakfast after 9:00 on a Tuesday and was not disappointed! Great service, nice shaded patio seating, huge portions with every bite being delicious! Our boys had whole wheat Chocolate Chip Pancakes which were HUGE! Mom and Dad had the Cambridge Skillet and Sleeping Giant Burrito - which was also HUGE!
