The Edge Treatment Center

I went to the edge in September 2018, and left SUCCESSFULLY in June 2019. I went into the edge homeless, owning nothing They helped me get back on my feet, find hope, gave me shelter, food, and most importantly LOVE. I had an amazing therapist who helped me work through things I never wanted to talk about before The staff is amazing, if you need anything ever, they are there to handle it. The owner even will talk to you on a personal level. It is like family there. I went in broken, not thinking I’d accomplish anything in life besides being a heroin addict I am now a successful yoga teacher, have my own place, and have 3 kids (cats) It’s not about the materialistic things though, it starts inside, and then the rest will unfold and follow I’ve been jn treatment over 20 times, and never lasted longer than 60-90 days I was at the edge for almost 9 months. The Edge saved my sons life. The support, compassion and help that my son received was unbelievable. Rory is truly amazing. He made sure that my son didn’t give up. He gave him the one on one support that he needed to get sober, and stay sober. Rory was in constant contact with me with, to keep me informed on my sons recovery. The edge gave him the encouragement that he needed and confidence to get back out in the real world , and stay sober. To this day Rory will check in with us to see how my sons recovery is going and to make sure we’re still doing good. I love this place I been here 2 months so far and they taught me what it means to love again. I am very happy here the staff are amazing. They really do care about you a lot. I mean what program so we really know allows you two months free rent and pushes you to get a job. What program you know sends Lyft’s back and fourth so you won’t have to worry about getting to and from program or doctors appointments Or interviews. They do it all. Family can be defined as a group of people related to one another by blood or marriage. The Edge has help me to re define the word Family as a group of people who can provide support, love and care without blood nor marriage. I was welcomed with open arms as a family member from the beginning. Tell this day I still keep in constant communication and still being support from a far just how family should. The Edge staff has helped me put my life back together. I'm now able to set goals, go after my dreams and mange what life throws at me. If it wasn't for my family at the Edge to listen, understand and work endless hours with me and also give me life skills I may not be here sharing my own thoughts. I would be still lost into my addiction with no hope in sight. I give thanks to my new found family members to guide me thru this chapter in my life and re define what family really means to me. Rory Namimatsu is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. I can confidently say he is one of the handful of people that helped save my life. He was 200% honest, understanding, and caring throughout the whole process. He answered all of my concerns and encouraged me the whole way through. There were NO times where I felt that I was being deceived/lied to or felt uncomfortable while working with Rory. I still keep in touch with him to this day and can say I am grateful to have met him. He is passionate in what he does and one of those who truly cares about his clients and helping people seek recovery.
